Worst service ever. the Cashier wasn’t pleasant. i stood at the register for 3 minutes before anyone surfaced. once the cashier surfaced and my items rang up incorrectly. i was instructed their wasn’t anything he could do without the ad. I retrieved the add from the car and he still questioned it’s validity. i was extremely frustrated. He insisted that i continue to wait for the district manager to call back. wouldn’t recommend this location to a Dog!!

I am a former Dollar general employee of this location I started working as stock at this location my general manager had me working thinking I was going to get alot of hours and when I finally asked her how many hours I was going to get a week she told me she had to see so the impression she do not need me work as stock but work as a cashier and stock but I really did volunteer with pay 3 days for one hour a week and I wanted More hours so I can get some money to get a car at least 15 hours 10 hours will do but she don't want to give them to me so I quit the job

Yes the store do close early sometimes bad customer service sometimes all day long on a business day clothes store 3***5 sometimes it looks like the store might be open for 2 hours like I said look like but I have went to the store one day at 9:30 am and day was closed August 2023 10 and 11 day was when I went at 9:30am and sometimes they open back up later and they will be closed all day at 9:30am one day i had call and they said they might be open at 3pm but when I went to the store at 6pm day was closed but my experience is not good or bad

I am starting to lose faith in this store. In my experience as a cashier, whatever the price says on the shelf, the customer is entitled to that said price until management makes changes. I don't understand why stores are not operating in this type of business, but I don't appreciate it. No disrespect to the location, but management needs to get it together.

ZERO STAR one star is being too nice EVERY TIME I COME TO THIS PLACE ITS CLOSED . like it can be 2:00pm in the evening and the door are locked . This Store don’t know what they want to do . Update the time on google instead of doing what you want to do

I had the handle of a broom to break. I went to exchange it, but I had no receipt. The employee stated she unable to make that call. I need to speak with the store manager. I understood. I called customer service explained the situation to them. So, they can relay my concerns to the store and the future interactions go smoothly. The district manager advised to go and speak with the store manager. I go and he's unavailable. The employees aren't sure when he would be available. I'm very agitated - as a result. My time is valuable. Normally I wouldn't worry about it. Especially, if it was an old broom. The broom is practically new with very little to no use. I could've just replaced the handle - hadn't the screw tip of the handle broken inside the broom. No to mention, the broom isn't even in-stock.[Dollar General of Bessemer]

I wasn't impressed at all by anything at this location. The main thing that sticks out in my mind was the lack of cleanliness and attentiveness to the store as well as the customers. I seriously doubt that I'll ever shop here again.

The store is never stocked right . sometimes when I get to couter prices are wrong compared to shelf. Aisles are messy and crowded. It would help if cashiers were more frienly when checking out.

Could be more organized and clean, but I never have a problem with the customer service. With a dedicated staff this store would be awesome; however, it starts at the top.

This store was almost out of EVERYTHING essential. It was a mess. Stuff was out of place, and this store REALLY needs some attention. The only positive I can say about this Dollar General is the staff was wonderful!!

I gave it two stars because they need more people in there because the people that work the casher was slow and I had to stand in line for over an hour then peopl had they kids running around in the store like its a zoo so they need to do at the store or get new employees
