My brother and I have been renovating my parents' home this past summer. We've tried to support this local business, sometimes paying more than the Walmart across the street. Our project is winding down so I've had to return a few things from both Walmart and the Ace inside of this store. We were denied the refund of the unopened TSP that we purchased on June 13. We have the receipt but were told that we were past their 30 day return window. Walmart has a 90 day return policy with or without a receipt. This Ace denied my return when it was 13 days past their measly 30 day policy. Also I might add that it is a super pain to shop this Ace because it's been a torn up mess all summer long! So much for shopping a small business.I strongly advise shopping at Walmart!

They have THE BEST hot deli food in the south! Hands down! And, these adorable little carts. Lol. The cashier named MS. Lorraine was so sweet and helpful. She made my day.

I like all the Greer's stores but this is one of my favorites. Most everything I need. They almost always have fresh pork cutlets (my friends are crazy about these when I cook them) The employees are always set on "friendly and hustle". I'm a regular.

Good prices. I love getting their meat on markdown. It’s much better now that they’ve replaced all the coolers and freezers. The only negative thing I’d have to say is that they rarely have super fresh produce.

Absolutely awesome, I stepped back in time when I entered. Reminds me exactly of shopping with my Mother at Save-A-Lot as a kid. I didn't feel the same anxiety or rush that I do at Walmart. I could walk around aimlessly for the fun of it. They even have a section to sit and enjoy the deli, I plan on going back and taking full advantage. For the small higher cost, the atmosphere and other deals are well worth it. Now, to convince the Wife to go. She swears by Walmart, well I swear by the feeling of utter comfort and relaxation as I stroll through the aisles that I want to comeback.

Great place to shop. Locally owned and a part of Bay Minette for a very long time. Clean, well organized, and they don't rearrange the location of items like chain stores. Absolutely love the fully stocked ACE hardware. Impressed they can offer so much in a small space.Not crazy about the the cost plus 10% policy. A little on the shady side. Just post the price and be done with it. Never liked manipulation strategies.

Great little small town grocery store. The prices here are just wonderful on meats. Almost hard to compare or beat. They have a wide variety of items, very small produce section, small deli, and included inside of the store, is a small hardware store, Ace Hardware. The employees are super friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be better organization. May be because I am unfamiliar with the store, but I had a hard time getting the layout of the floorplan of products. Overall, very pleased with my shopping experience. Thank you.

If you're vegan, you may want to go across the street to Walmart. Walmart has a lot of vegan and plant-based products. Greer's has very little to offer. On the other hand, the staff is quite friendly, which is why I gave them so many stars.

Greer's has the freshest prettiest meat that you can purchase. Plus, you can't beat the prices when it comes to their meat. The deli also has some of the best fried chicken and fried catfish you could ever eat. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful.

You can find what you want, the deli is good excellent selection of hot prepared foods. The meat department is great and the butchers will gladly trim or cut your meats. They don't have a Bakery but they do have some previously prepared/frozen baked goods. All in all it is a good place to go as long as you don't mind paying that extra 10%.

They have great prices & a great meat dept. Plus the sell Ace hardware products!! They have updated the store with new meat cases & also dairy & vegetable's case. Very nice. Friendly staff also!

I bought 2 packs of smoked turkey necks. Got home and one pack was spoiled. Didn't notice until I got home. Not worth the trip back. Meat dept needs to do better!

Greer’s is a wonderful place to shop. Unlike Walmart it’s never busy, the store is always clean and the employees are nice and helpful. They always help my elderly mother out to her car with her groceries. Also we were trying to find quinoa, which they didn’t have, so they ordered it and now keep it in the store for us. If they don’t have an item you want just ask them and they will stock it for you. Prices are either lower than Walmart or not that much of a difference. They are paired with Ace hardware so that’s a bonus if you need home improvement stuff and groceries! Definitely a better option than Walmart!
