Dr. Palmer and his staff are kind and efficient. He's local and so are most of his staff. He's a long time Bay Minette resident, and honestly cares. They have been beyond amazing when we've had emergencies.

Someone just called me from here asking if I wanted some kind of tax relief services , and when I asked what the name of their business was , EXTREMELY racist slurs were yelled at me, which I’m not going to repeat. I do not know who these people are, but you do not speak to anyone that way, let alone people you’re cold calling. I called them back a couple of times, and they (probably for good reason) refuse to give me the name of their business. Anyone doing business with them should be aware that you’re dealing with VERY hateful people.

Very nice staff and vet team. They were able to see our dog without a appointment. Diagnosed a problem with a blood test in the office, so we could make decisions...the odor is a bit overwhelming so that's why I gave 4 stars.

Sent my cat grim up there for chest congestion they really didn't even look at em they give him a shot and he died poor cat was screaming in pain before it past worst vet office in bay minette my cat didn't deserve to die because of a negligent vet if you love your cat or dog dont take it there they will kill it

This is a great place to take your animals for care as well as preventative care. Staff is more than willing to help and give advice, that is always spot on. I have used this vet since 2004 at least. This is the only place I trust with my best friend.

While traveling my dog got a cyst and it ruptured. Only vet that I could get into on a Saturday. They got my dog on antibiotics along with a ointment. Nice people and reasonable prices. Thankful that we got our dog into them as she healed quickly with their help.

I was helping a friend move and in a shed located on the property was a cat that was almost dead. We didn’t know what was wrong with the cat at this time. I actually didn’t think the cat was going to make it. My friend was crying and insisted that we had to take the cat to a vet. It was a Saturday afternoon so I wasn’t sure if we would find one even open. We rushed the cat to Bay Minette Animal Clinic and they were amazing. Come to find out the cat was diabetic. Once that was determined the Dr. immediately went to work and saved the cat. He went above and beyond and is definitely an asset to that clinic and the community.

Not my regular vet.. small clinic. Super nice people. (Edit) I came back and edited my review, these are awesome people who go beyond and above to help your beloved pets.If this veterinarian office had the facilities for a more personal approach, like bringing each person with their pet into a small waiting room where you'd talk 1 on 1 with your Vet about problems you've seen with your pet out would be very awesome.. sometimes information gets lost between the clerk and the actual vet.. but I understand this isn't always possible..Good place and they doc Palmer did a good job with my 3 pets. 1 male neuter and 2 females fixed

The staff is always rude when I call or go in, Dr. Palmer never does any tests just listens to symptoms I list and guesses the diagnosis. I over heard a lady talking about putting her dogs bill on a credit, pay later instance but when I called about getting my very sick cat seen and paying later because I didn't get paid til the next week the receptionist said they don't do that. It always smells and is dirty terrible place to go.

The staff are wonderful, polite and helpful. Dr. Palmer is a very good veterinarian, has been in business for a few decades for a good reason. He takes very good care of his patients, and treats them like they were his own. He's also calming to the pet parents and explains diagnoses clearly.

Telling me, I have to pay voucher fee to use a Humana Society spay/neuter voucher. Then told without voucher about the same total cost. Second time I have had issues with animals at this vet about fees. Based on talking to friends, it all depends on the assistant that you talk too.Sounds like if the assistant is your friend one price others get ridiculous pricing and pay for the friends bill.Time to find a real vet office that can handle dealing with clients.----‐--------------New vet neutered Shadow took voucher without issue. Only charged $27 for a post surgical pain killer.Yet Palmer's office wanted over $100 with the voucher. Based on other reviews this vet needs to retire!
