This is an what we call soon to be a thing of the past!! The owner of that I can say has been serving gas,old fashion country food and hospitality for at least 15 year's!! This country store reminds me of Fred Hunters show Simply Alabama!! So if your in our area Bankston Alabama stop by!!

Sandfords Grocery is a combination convenience store, gas station and cafe.Not expensive as stated in another review. Prices are comparable to other cafes in the area. Gas prices are higher in Fayette county than in surrounding countries but we don't know why. Food prices in the cafe are reasonable for what you are getting.Almost all menu items are home cooked from scratch and taste delicious.The staff is always friendly and courteous.If you are not familiar with NW Alabama's small cafes, this will be a new experience.
