Went to Ace Hardware employee all setting on lawn furniture in the font didn’t offer any service. They didn’t care who was in the store kept dropping the f word rather drive across town don’t waste your time or money employees don’t care about their customers

I placed an order online yesterday morning. The item stated it was available in store; (i had searched numerous places for this item). Anticipated to be ready same day; I waited ALL day and NEVER received email it was ready; I called 2 phone numbers all day long - NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE; I contacted corporate who told me the order was received and to WAIT on an email. 24 hours later - still no email. So I drove to the store. (I needed said item for tomorrow and live an hour away from this location). I enter the stores - no customers to be seen; 2 employees sitting in the lawn furniture playing on phones; I inquired about my item; stressed I needed it; no email received. One points to the left of the entrance and said "they're over there" and indeed a large stack of said item. Employee gets it and hands to me. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! This order could have been processed timely YESTERDAY and certainly TODAY by two employees who were just lounging around doing nothing! And interesting to note it still does not show the item as completed and delivered!! Can't recommend this place. Management needs to do some customer service training - you have a problem there!

Very nice store, well stocked. We were able to find all we needed to get a stove installed took a while to find the right fittings. Very convenient.

Very small. Employees are not informative about anything. App will say in stock at the store but never is actually in stock. I have been to better Ace stores than this. This reminds me of the Russell hardware stores in little redneck towns I have been to.

Really nice staff ready 2 help with any of your needs & lots of items that is reasonably priced. I love how it's more convenient to go to our local Ace then drive across town to Lowe's even tho some items is better to get from Lowe's whether it's for a price difference or whatever I just like the convenience of going to Ace & they are not usually crowded also.

Poor inventory and worse customer service. Walked into the store and there were 3 what appeared to be employees sitting in rocking chairs playing on their phones, none offered a greeting or acknowledged my existence. I walked around the store looking for an item for 5 minutes with no luck so I left. 1 employee did say "excuse me" as he grabbed an item from the area I was looking but didn't offer any assistance.

On 16 December 2021 I went to this Ace hardware to buy a Christmas gift for my husband. All of the employees were standing outside. No greeting at the door as I went in. I wandered around for 20 minutes and no one asked if they could help. I had to go outside to get one of them to come in to help me with a purchase of Craftman tools. I asked what the return policy was and I was told 30 days and it had to be unused. I bought it with my credit card and as a Ace member the purchase was recorded on my member number.The gift did not work out for my husband so we drove all the way down to Ace with them tools to return them, unopened and unused on 1 Jan 2022. I was told the item could not be returned and that was the owners policy.Goodbye Ace. I can buy from other companies for far lass money with easy no hassle returns.

This place is supposed to be a verified UPS drop off, but they are incompetent at performing certain UPS functions!!! Went there today to return some bar stool that I ordered, and they told me they did not know how to perform the task.Normally, for an Amazon return, you show the customer service person the QR code which they scan and your all set! Geez if you are advertising that you provide certain services, you need be able to follow through!

Needed a key fob. They only way they will program a key fob, is if they sell it. Absolutely useless policy. Been there 3 times trying to get info or catching the key fob person there. Low inventory for a hardware store and they have a limited supply of key fobs available. Look somewhere else.

This store was clean, well organized and the staff were amazing! They were not only helpful, but the lady that waited on me approached me to see if she could help and when I told her that I had a list, she stayed with me until she had found every item on my list. As if that wasn't enough, she even found a BBQ grill in the back that hadn't been put on the floor yet that was in my price range!!! This is my new forever store.

My fiancee went to purchase a splitting mail handle. On the shelf it was $8.68 at the register it rang up $18.98. Their reasons was price increase. They refused to honor the shelf price. The manager was very rude.

The local guides are wrong .I myself am Etowah Ace employee.I've been there since we open the doors. Our prices on most items are online with most retailers. I have compare prices with big chains. Some prices are little more and some are cheaper. We pride ourself in trying to help everyone but some do slip by. We are a new crew,& we are all still learning. We do our best to be helpful to everyone. And we are sorry that you had a bad experience. We invite you to please visit us again. We would be glad to help change your mind.

Deleting my previous review. The previous store hours were late in changing in the Google information. They had Sunday Hours as open at 12:30pm. That has/had been changed by the store, but Google didn't change it in their store info box, till way later... causing a big misunderstanding. John Lipscomb

I went in to purchase a quill for a gift. I was looking for a gas grill with a smoker attached, I was s unwelcome i felt like i was making them like we have to go to work now instead of sitting around an talking , i asked about some paint also to paint or stain my deck, they made me feel like ,just leave im busy talking. So I left and purchased what I wanted at Wal-Mart. I would rather got it from ACE .I want go back

I'll be bringing my trimmer back to them for the 3rd time tomorrow because they've completely screwed it up! This thing has ran flawlessly until one day the shaft stopped spinning. They fixed that, then tried to charge me for a fuel filter and spark plug with a $97 ticket, after saying they would call if it got expensive... Never called. I bring it home and it won't even run. Now, after returning it, it's running for maybe 10 minutes and constantly either dying or about to die. Husqvarna Certified, yeah, right. Beware!

I was given an ACE gift card for Christmas. When I tried to use this ACE gift card at this ACE HARDWARE STORE, they tell me that I can’t use it there. There is a sign literally ON THE DOOR that says they have Ace gift cards available, but they don’t ACCEPT THEM??!? And it’s because of your sYSTEM?? Get a new system, maybe one that takes ACE GIFT CARDS at your ACE STORE!!
