Logan was the employee who I’m writing a review on. It seems like everyone in line today needed help so he was running from the counter to the self print section to walk customers through the process. He was so sweet & patient with every single customer. I just wanted to give him some positive recognition for being such an awesome employee! GREAT JOB LOGAN! 👏 🏆

I worked with the Athens Staples recently for our Limestone County Churches Involved school supply give away. They could not have been nicer and easier to work with. Jake, their manager, went over and beyond to help us in every way. I was also helped by Liz, Robert, Nick, and Quinn. Each was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I took some items to be shipped and the staff "would try" to wrap up breakable items and clueless as to what to do. I told them I would go elsewhere. Asked to speak to a manager and he had personality of nothing. Actually everyone in that store does. For shame.

I went into the Athens, Al staples today 4/23/2021 and I was greeted promptly and then when I asked for help the young man (can’t remember his name sorry) jumped to my assistance and was not only nice but knowledgeable even walked me to where I needed to be! When I saw the price of the item I was hunting I was shocked, however I didn’t express this it was like he could feel it🤷🏽‍♀️ He offered a price match and even found a great deal for me! I was beyond happy, he was then asked to assist another customer and said he would radio the cashier AND HE DID when I approached the young lady at the register I was greeted very kindly and she already knew about the price match! Also didn’t catch her name but she was sweet as sugar! I have been going thorough a a really hard time seeing as I lost my mom suddenly in February Since then people have seemed very cold and rude, with that having been said these two made my day and restored my faith in customer service! Even tho I don’t remember there names I want to give a huge shout out to them in hopes they will see this! Keep up the great work staples! Keep up the good work!

I was in Staples yesterday and a young lady named Elizabeth helped me. She went out of her way to take care of me and make sure my issue was resolved. There should be more associates in retail like Elizabeth. She is definitely an asset to Staples in Athens, AL.

I went to store to ship out 50 sheets for overnight UPS and wanted one copy B&W before I shipped. The man working today clearly did not want to help. He told me my copy, which would have taken less time to run than it would for me.to process the shipping that it would be consider a rush order. He wanted to charge more than double the cost for copies. He was rude and impatient. I walked out with no shipping, no copies, and not purchasing a couple of other items I found in the store. I guess profit is not a concern here. Take your business to Office Depot or a UPS store where customer service is given and the customer is valued.

They fixed my computer, that was hacked into, and it works good as new! Returned some inventory with ease in their shipping department. Highy reccomend Staples, they have the friendliest, most courteous, helpful employees in any retail store.

Hands down the worst merchant I've ever done business with. I paid nearly $600 for two years worth of warranties and virus protection for two different laptops (work and home). Four months after purchasing, I took the units in to be serviced and warrantied but was told Staples no longer does business with the very expensive virus company they aggressively up-sold me a few months earlier. The virus software was called Sophos and is a German company located overseas with whom I was unable to reach a live representative after trying for weeks. Obtaining a working customer service phone number proved to be nearly impossible. I was also told by a store employee that Staples had a "strained relationship" with the 3rd party company my warranty was through called Square Trade. This resulted in me no longer being able to drop my units off with Staples as I was initially told. I never intended to do business with either 3rd party company and was promised by this merchant I'd never have to. I was denied a refund and never reached any resolution. If you do business with their "Easy Tech" department I WARN YOU there will be nothing "easy" about it. I've since switched back to Best Buy's Geek Squad Department and am once again getting the professional service that I need and expect. I've only taken the time to write this review in effort to save others a very costly (in my case $600) mistake.

I wish I could give NO stars as I am very upset. My parents do not know computers. They bought a new printer, tried to install themselves but were not able to do so. Then after that, their computer was not working well. They brought it to the the Staples location in Athens, AL for repair. Apparently the technician reset their computer while deleting the wireless adapter out of the system. Therefore, the computer doesn't even recognize that it has wireless capabilities now because it thinks the hardware is gone. If the system thinks the hardware is gone, I assume the drivers are as well. I instructed my parents to bring the computer back to Staples. I texted them what they needed to explain to the technician. The technician told my parents that they didn't have the capability to fix this issue as they didn't have high speed internet at that Staple.I equate this to one of the times in the early 80's when my Mom took a car to a repairman and the repairman charged her over $2,000 to fix the vehicle which in reality only needed a $50 fuel filter, my father was furious and visited that repair shop the very next day for his refund and to have a word with the manager about his employees. My parents paid $170 to this location and have a computer that no longer has the ability to be wireless. I am absolutely livid that my elderly mother and father (who is a disabled Vietnam Veteran) were taken advantage of by this company and it's employees during this difficult time. You all should be ashamed.***UPDATE*** ITS BEEN A WEEK SINCE MY POST AND NOBODY FROM THE STORE HAS BOTHERED TO RESPOND. THIS IS ABOUT AS BAD AS IT GETS FOLKS. HUGE COMPANY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF AN ELDERLY DISABLED VETERAN OF THIS COUNTRY.

Has anyone encountered the new "Express Guarantee" at the Staples (Athens) copy center? You walk up and get a copy and go to pay. On your bill there is a mysterious extra charge itemized as "Express Guarantee." The manager says it's for putting me ahead of all the other jobs and making my copy while I stand there. I didn't realize that serving a customer who walks into the store required an extra charge or "Express Guarantee." The charge for the "guarantee," by the way, represented a 33 percent surcharge. Wanted to charge me 33% more because they didn't make me wait a day or two to get my copy made. I doubt they can make this stick. If a customer is spending his/her own money, I know they can't.

I had a tough time returning a monitor after 19 days. The policy is 14 days but the box was unopened. I will never buy a pricey item from there again.

I shop at the Athens store on a regular basis (monthly) for my office and the staff people are always friendly and helpful. I prefer this Staples store over any other store in my local area. Thanks guys!

People are super nice but they are always out of what I need. Went last week to get apple pod ear phones they were out. Today I need a hdmi cord to laptop and they are out.

Friendly staff always helpful great selection and they help you get in and out fast. They even have a UPS area here which is freaking convenient!
