Our first time visit was for an annual exam and shots for my dog. I was very pleased with the staff - both the clinical staff, the doctor and the front office team. My dog is high strung and anxious by nature but the visit went very smoothly and he did great. They offer an outside patio area if you prefer to wait there. This was very helpful for my dog and me. They answered all my questions and were very informative.

Forgive me if I'm doing anything wrong personally, but this was my experience with this vet.I went here on November, my hamster had a cheek abscess and we took him here to get it drained. The wait was extra long, and if I remember correctly we were told it'd be $100 to take him here, yet they charged $70 extra. Did absolutely nothing to my hamster. When they brought him back, his face was absolutely covered in blood and he seemed more scared than usual. They gave us antibiotics which I assumed would help out a bit, and they didn't. I put it on twice a day as told so, 8 AM every morning and 8 PM every night. Again, did absolutely nothing. I could tell my hamster hated the feeling of it and it only made him scratch and bleed even more, not prevent infection or bring down the swelling. I took my hamster to get his abscess drained, and til this day, 4 months later, it's done nothing but get bigger and worse. He looks terrible.The employees were super nice, but what would've been nicer was if I got what I came for. Total waste of money. Again, please forgive me if I'm personally doing anything wrong - but I was only told to put some funky liquid on my hamster's cheek twice a day, and it did nothing.

The property itself is very welcoming and inviting. I was greeted with smiles and sincere greetings. Assistance was offered as I had 2 -8 month old pups. My pups were relaxed and enjoying themselves from the loving attention from all the staff. Dr. Dobson.was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I asked questions or asked for clarification. I am very confident I chose the right facility for the Healthcare of my dogs

We took our dog and met with Dr. Bryan. He was very through, and explained the process to us. When testing was completed he was very understanding and kin. We had been to another vet and was just passed along. Even though this is a difficult time with out beagle, he was very helpful and appreciated for his kindness.

I had my first visit with my Pooch, Bengi, At the EastSide Animal Hospital in Athens, Alabama. My first impression as I walked into the lobby it was very clean, orderly, inviting and comfortable as soon as I went in they called us almost immediately.They treated me and my doggy so kind and welcoming the doctor, and the assistance were very pleasant, professional and courteous.I really appreciate in the utmost levels of respect for how the doctor left room for me to offer input, and consideration for the approach to care for my dog thank you so much Dr. Moyers

Dr. Lovell and staff are wonderful. They are patient with my (normally) anxious dog. But Rusty loves going to see them. He loves all the attention and doesn’t even realize he is getting an exam. He is a dog that can have severe stranger danger but has never had a bad experience at EastSide. I have actually moved away but will be making the drive back just so Rusty can continue with them.

Eastside is by far the best! Eastside always treats my dogs like royalty. Dr. Moyers has always been open and honest about what is wrong with my dogs and treated them like her own. We are new in town and needed to find a local vet. I spoke with a few vet clinics in the area and decided on Eastside initially because their front desk people were so kind and helpful. They went above what was necessary to help a new resident. We just had our first appointment with the Dr and he and the vet techs are as good as the front desk folks!

Great vet, OUTRAGEOUS prices! Cost us over $500 for a routine wellness check, with boosters, and some medication for just 2 of our dogs... And we just had to drop another $216 for a yeast infection on the third, when they had the audacity to request a follow-up that will be how many hundreds more?! So tired of the price gouging, it's practically criminal how they prey on people who want to keep their pets healthy.To make it worse, they refuse to fill any meds unless everything is up to date, forcing you to come in and spend insane amounts of money on their overpriced services. We're spending over $2K/yr, just on vet bills, for all 3 of our pups (and that's when they're healthy and nothing is wrong)!Again, fantastic staff and they do a good job, but I think it might be time to start looking elsewhere, because it honestly feels like they're running a racket here... Shame on the greedy owners of Eastside!

Dr Lovell and his staff are wonderful to work with. They are very friendly and caring and I feel my puppies get the best care there. They were very sympathetic when I had to have my dog put to sleep because of health issues and old age. Now I am taking my two new puppies there.Maggie one of Dr. Lovell's assistants/techs was so sweet. When my puppy had an accident in my car, Maggie not only took my puppy and cleaned her and her leash off, she went out to my car and cleaned it all up for me. Now that goes beyond great service. Just when you think customer service is non-existent, you find it here at Eastside Animal Hospital. I highly recommend them.

Eastside Animal Hospital again earns 5 stars! We have several pets that are seen by the vets at Eastside. We have always received excellent service from all the Eastside personnel (actually more like family). Most of our pets are taking prescribed medicines from parasite medication to diabetes related medications and those important prescriptions are always ready for pick up in a timely manner. Have also had success in getting quick appointments to address health issues with our pets. Highly recommend Eastside Animal Hospital for your pets care.

This was our first time to board our Lab. They were so good to her. Sending us pictures of her playtime and her cuddle time. She received Kong treats and was very happy when we picked her up. Everyone was so pleasant and professional.Thank You Eastside!

We had a sick dog and they accommodated us after closing to get him in to be seen. The other thing that impressed us was they kept our dog away from others as to not spread the virus that he had. Very conscientious of their other clients.

The staff was super friendly, Dr. Lovell was great with my dog and answered any questions I had. The techs explained everything they were doing and were patient with my dog with her unease with the needles.Prices were reasonable and they were up front with pricing prior to the visit so there were no surprises.The visit was quick and easy. They also have an outdoor lobby and have snacks and drinks in their indoor lobby, which was a nice touch!

Although Eastside might be a bit more expensive than other clinics in the area, their vets and techs are worth it! They are extremely nice, knowledgeable, and personable. Because the staff is so friendly, my dog LOVES to go to the vet even when he’s sick.They have many skilled vets on staff, and we’ve been able to get same day appointments when our dog is sick. (Our dog does have his “normal” vet at Eastside, but if she’s booked and he’s not feeling well, we take the next available slot with anyone. All the vets we’ve had clearly know their stuff and explain information in layman’s terms.)The Eastside staff is clearly passionate about doing the best they can for animals.
