Was very frustrated when I left this establishment... merchandise is clearly marked to be on sale at a certain price as long as you have the digital coupons so I proceeded to download the app and look for the coupons which I could not find... Would have been at least $12 saving at the end of the ticket which cashier informed me the coupon was not on my digital app so I would not get the discount also it was for only one... Moral of the story is the clearly marked advertised price is not what you pay for the product...also this product was in the weekly ad for this price... PERFECT EXAMPLE OF FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! ALSO the store has carts sitting everywhere that contains product that needs to be put out...very annoying to have to try an shop around this considering NO ONE was attempting to work this stock

This is an ok dollar store i noticed not all managers and cashiers are nice I know one manager and two cashier who are nice other then that I would rather visit the other dollar general. Also this store is a little cluttered and if you fine a penny item they try not to sell it and say it's discontinued and they missed it . The manager Katie is sweet and polite as well as a cashier named Lauren.

Every aisle had a skid of stuff that needs putting away. One aisle was completely blocked with 3 skids. Needless to say a lot of their shelves were empty

My husband and I pulled up at the dollar store 5 min til close. The male employee was standing outside Smoking when we pulled up. He immediately ran inside the store and locked the doors. There was two customers inside the store who witnessed this entire event. He said his boss said he couldn’t open the door. The other customers couldn’t believe the employees attitude and rude behavior. They stood outside talking to my husband about this event. I will be calling corporate in the morning. Good thing I know all of the employees by name.

This location has been my favorite DG in Athens, clean friendly environment, and i Loved the Christian Music they played.. notice I said played for some odd reason the employees said the manager changed the station. I wish they'd change the music back it went well with the atmosphere made shopping seem less stressful

My absolute favorite DG. Staff is always smiling an there to help immediately. I love the joke guy as my husband an I call him . This store feels more like family an its exactly what our world needs more of

By far the most impressive dollar General open today! Especially a cashier named Raven!! There should be more like her! She didn't just check me out, she brightened my day!! Her smile shined so bright the mask couldn't even cover it!!!!! She is an absolute delight!!!

I can't say enough about the management and staff.Just a cut above. I've been in public service at points in my career and sometimes it can be trying..But if I looked in the dictionary for the definition of "extraordinary customer service", I wouldn't be surprised to see this entire staffThank you, neighbors.

Love it! They have a huge variety of things. We shop there at least once a week. It is our go to. They have wonderful greeting cards, they stay up with the holidays, and they have just about anything you need. The people who work there are polite and helpful. We love that we have this store right at our convience. They take coupons and have a couple app. You dont have to download the app. Sign up and when you get to the register put your phone number in the Terminal. It takes care of the rest.

Be advised. Prices indicated of the shelf may not be what you are charged at the register. I asked the acting manager on duty about this and was informed that price changes were directed by corporate. Ok but who is responsible for changing the price posted in the store? If you run on a tight budget and every little bit counts, watch this, check your receipt and demand a refund if overcharged. Either it's underhanded pricing or at best, sloppy store management.

This DG is not one I go to regularly but it still met my expectations beautifully.Employees are friendly and helpful. Store was clean and well stocked. Thank God for Dollar General.

The dollar store, as like any "discount store" is a budget place to shop for those things you need in a hurry. The down side is the discount is not always in the cost but the product quality. The Dollar store usually carries name brand stuff you can get in the big box stores at a slightly discount price but also off brand things that are priced at name brand prices a d the quality is about half. Just be careful what you buy.the good this about the Dollar general is they are everywhere.. literally like 5 miles apart.. it's like a church building in the Bible belt.so you'll have no trouble finding one.

I love Dollar General, but some of the prices need to be adjusting for the quality of some products. Plus, they need to carry Dove pump hair spray, Finesse shampoo, conditioner, moose, & hairspray, & salon selective hair care products. I mainly wouldn't LOVE to see Finesse hair care products in 100% of all Dollar General stores.

Nice clean store, However I saw a beef jerky stick in a big box right in front of a price sticker that said 1 dollar and at the register it rang up 2 dollars, I went to go show the worker and he said oh well its 2 dollars do you still want it? Of course I said yes because I love beef jerky, however in my opinion since a worker ( won't say names because it's not that deep and I dont want to put his name in a review ) put a whole big box right above the 1$ price they should have corrected it to 1$ because that's false advertising. After this was all said an done , he didn't even go get the box an put them in the correct spot. I bet if I go in tomorrow it will still say 1$, I'll update this with a pic if it is still in the wrong spot, very misleading and annoying lol

My experiences with This location has not been the greatest. The cashier was incredibly impolite on my last visit and felt by his attitude he didn't want to be working. Will not be coming back to this location.

Pointless going to a store that is never stocked with anything. This is not the fault of the one person who is supposed to stock and tend to register. This is a direct result of corporate greed.

I frequently go to the Tanner location and I’ve always had a good service, most prices are cheaper than the larger stores like Walmart.
