I've been using this pharmacy for over 6 years and the pharmacy staff are great. They do a great job filling my prescriptions and processing my transactions and answering my questions. My only wishes are that they were open later and that they had same day delivery options.As an FYI, I do use the Pharmacy Drive Through most of all and I use it mostly in the afternoon and evenings. Occasionally when I drop off a new Prescription, I have been asked to wait an hour or so. But my Prescription is always ready earlier than that.They do get busy between 4 and 6 pm, but so do just about all businesses, so that's to be expected.I highly recommend this pharmacy.

This store is overworked and are short staffed a lot of days. The workers remain professional and friendly. Julius is such a knowledgeable pharmacist and Jordon and Emma always help you find discounts, etc. Great team.

This pharmacy is the worst I have ever used. I will definitely not be giving them my business in the future! They regularly take 11/2 to 2 hours to fill the simplest prescription. When I asked if they could have it done in an hour aka before lunch she was rude and asked me if I wanted my prescription back. Do your self a favor and steer clear of this place!

This place is horrible. I called to ask if they had a nebulizer and they said yes 2. I got there with the RX at 1:10. They close for lunch at 1:30. He ask if I was gonna come back later and get it and I said Can't I get it now? And he said well it will take a long time to put this in the system and we are about to close for lunch. 20 mins to go get the nebulizer.. which is in a box and enter the info in the computer? So anyway I left and said I would come back and then they sent a text saying they ordered it. 🙄 This chilld can't breathe but they up here playing games

It makes me so mad that my insurance requires us to use CVS. I have NEVER been talked to or treated as poorly as I was at the Athens CVS!! The pharmacy left out my husbands pain meds for chronic back issues. When I went inside to see about getting them I was told I had to wait at least an hour.. well ok I understand but I had called an hour before I came to insure everything would be ready. When I explained this to the pharmacist he actually deleted my husbands meds out of the system and told me he was not filling them and I could get in touch with my Dr to get a new prescription!!! This was a Sunday afternoon and the prescription was a controlled substance so it was DAYS before we could get a new subscription. I was in SHOCK!!!! And yes we filed a complaint and talked to corporate but he still works there!

No help in the pharmacy center. I asked the worker if she knew of a good prenatal vitamin that didn’t contain soy. First she didn’t know what soy was and so she said “let me ask the pharmacist”. I heard the pharmacist say “Google it”. What pharmacist doesn’t know what vitamin doesn’t contain soy? 2nd what pharmacist says “google it”?The young girl showed me what came up and you guessed it, that vitamin contained soy when I looked at the bottle. What a waste of time and what a joke of a pharmacy and pharmacist! Don’t waste your time here if you need help.

If I could give them no stars I would. I went in to get my husband's diabetic medication filler because he was COMPLETELY OUT. The pharmacist Julius Tate had the prescription for 3 hours. When I returned he advised me it would be the following day before we could pick up the prescription. He was rude, inconsiderate and even rolled his eyes at me when I reminded him that we were completely out of the medication. He advised me that he had been busy and did not have time to fill these NECESSARY PREDICTIONS!we will be changing pharmacist again, even if it's a higher price. At least the small town people care and are not rude!!!!

Wish I could give 0 stars. I have never had trouble filling my medicine at any other CVS but ever since I've moved them to this CVS it has been nothing but problems every month. Most of the pharmacy staff are rude and can't explain anything they just say to call my insurance and as I said other pharmacy's have filled the same exact prescription with no problems.

I honestly hate that I have to even give 1 star. I came here to pick up my daughters nausea medicine and I had her insurance card in hand yet the RUDE and TERRIBLE lady with black hair at the drive thru window told me that she needs me to show her a different card in order to cover the med under insurance so that if I wanted the meds it would cost $70. It’s not even that big of a deal to me but it’s the fact that someone has hired this girl to work the DRIVE THRU with some of the worst customer service skills I’ve ever seen. Will no longer be using this pharmacy for my own medication nor my daughters. Terrible.

This place is normally higher priced on most items than walmart. Sometimes we have had prescription mix ups such as two different antibiotics when only one was meant. Not sure how this happened.The drive through and pharmacy people are very nice.

I usually have a good experience but the lady who checked me out today seemed annoyed that I told her my prescription is $21 cheaper at the Madison location and I had called them to discount my prescription at this location. I didn't appreciate the eye roll and attitude. They should do more to help their customer's with discounts when they know they're available because the people in Madison sure do and was so nice & helpful when I called them.

Worst pharmacy ever!! Alyssa, the pharmacist, is the rudest person. She changed my daughter's prescription without doctor's approval!! When we asked about it, she and the technicians yelled at us to get out and never come back. Rudest pharmacist and technicians ever! Don't go there!!! I have reported them to the Corporate Offices twice now because of the rudeness of this pharmacist and the staff.

The staff say they will do stuff like call your other pharmacy and get them to move your perception to this store and 3 days later when I go and get my medicine, and nope. They're not ready yet. Seriously? This isn't the first mishap I've ran into either. If you say the meds are going to be ready in 15 minutes and I come back an hour later and they're still not filled. Yeah, I'm going to be upset. That's happened on more than 3 occasions. I do not like this store. Find another CVS for meds?

This was the worst experience regarding covid 19 tests. We are told it would be 1-2 days for results. We still have not got a result 5 days later. If we have to wait this long then what is the point. This was a completely useless thing to do. What does it matter now 5 days later?! Thanks for nothing

Terribly mismanaged location. I have always used CVS but this location gives them a bad name. For 10 days they had my Mother's script and could not have it ready for pickup after she called and asked the status. To make it worse they couldn't fill one of them for an additional day?!?! How does this happen when they have been sitting on it for 10 days, and knew the refill date, for life saving medication. Use Walgreens in Athens- it just may save your life.

Been a customer a long time. Shopping and prescription. I worked some 10 years in the business myself. Changed doctors, ran out of a script by accident non-narcotic, much needed, asked for a few until my script could be called in on Monday or so. Consultant hem hawed around and said no, sorry we can't help you. I know they could have. That's how you lose customers folks. Three customers gone.

Terrible experience with corporate , operator came and could not hear her. She then hang up when I asked to be remove from their date base. I got a booster ...I think, they had no labels and the girl scribble something on my card. No telling what shot I got!!!

Called today concerning a prescription that just expired. Experience with other pharmacy they offer to contact doctor for new script. This pharmacy says they fax doctors and get no response. ???Are my problems with CVS or just this location ?

Staff is very rude and act like you are wasting their time by being there. I use Publix normally but have to get one prescription here cause it's cheaper otherwise I would NEVER come to this location.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to! They do not take Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance I have been told to pull around six different times waiting on one prescription the staff is rude! I will never go back! Get it together cvs!
