UPDATE: MORE DECEIPT: Big Lots reached out to me in response to this post by stating "We want to be sure you're taken care of" providing the link to their "customer care dept", which couldn't have cared less that my credit card information was STOLEN FROM ME - by either an employee or stranger's use of my credit card when it wasn't returned to me. The AL Attorney General has encouraged me to file a complaint with their office against Big Lots, which I'll be doing next. Beware of a possible credit card SCAM/SWINDLE, of which I was a victim. Two weeks ago, I made a return to the store and was credited $3.58 on my Discover card. I immediately left the store without making a purchase. Upon returning home, I realized that the cashier had not given me back my credit card, and there was a $23 + charge on my credit card by a stranger, minutes after I left the store. The usual run-around ensued: Big Lots in Athens told me I had to take it up with Discover card (after stealing from me!), and Discover card said that it had to be addressed with Big Lots. Big Lots did not even have the integrity to check their security surveillance for me to confirm that this charge was not made by me, and determine who DID use my card: a stranger, or an employee? Its not a lot of money, but WAY TO SWINDLE your long-time, loyal (senior citizen) customers, Big Lots!!

Today I Went For An Interview At 11:00am The Employee Was Polite And Call The Manager Jenifer On The Walkie Talkie, Jenifer Response On My God, You Have To Give Me A Few Minutes, Thé Employée Response You May Have A Seat Anywhere On The Furniture, Then The Employee Returns And Says Jenifer ask me to take your information because she’s Currently Not Hiring At The Moment, I Will Pass Up This Offer, don’t want to work for a company whose Management Is Very Unprofessional, She Needs to be Retrained because that was rude of her.

Wow! What a beautiful Big Lots! Everything was organized like a magazine! Floors were clear and no clutter at all! Associates were pleasant and very helpful! Lots of items and no broken items! It was a pleasurable shopping experience!

I received very warm and professional services from the people who works there. Price wise are very reasonable. One can buy a name brand of clothing. There are an emergency food so things that one do not need to go to big store to get them. I recommend this Big Lots

It is my experience that the furniture that Big Lots sells is not of top quality, even though it can be Broyhill,, recommend not spending your hard-earned money on furniture at that store

I absolutely love this store. The prices on indoor and outdoor furniture are unbeatable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend this to everyone.

Decent prices but has only 1 or 2 knowledgeable staff when you need to ask a question. On top of which the management of this store has a case of shortsightedness. They're needs to be a store associate that is also a handyman. Charge people 50$ a pop to put furniture together for the customer. This saves us time and headaches when we are under a time constraint.

I love this place. They have awesome products at even better prices. They staff on all levels are very knowledgeable. If every business would train their staff like they do, it would be a great thing. I wish more would open in other places.

Went to look at some furniture 7/22 and needed to ask a question. There was a woman in that section at the computer with headphones on. I tried to get her attention and she very pointedly ignored me. She would not acknowledge my existence in any way. She wouldn't even make eye contact in spite of me clearly standing right in front of her. There was no one else around to ask and there were several people waiting inn line at the register, so we gave up and left. My wife and I were appalled.

The quality of furniture is good. The price point is great and if you shop sales it's amazing. Just bought 2 large cubicle organizers wooden , laundry detergent , and coffee for 64 dollars. The cubicles are normally 40 a piece!!!

Clean store. No clutter. Stocked shelves. Good customer service. Good selection of items. Fair prices. The layout of the store was very good with groceries in the middle and home goods and home decor along the outer edge of the store. Best looking Big Lots that ive been to.

This store and policy is completely ridiculous, they literally commit robbery to its customers based on a phantom return policy that is unreasonable. After buying a Bluetooth speaker that quit working after less than a month I was forced to “deal with it” or get a refund minus 20% of the original cost . What a way for a low level store to make money off the people that patronize.

My husband and I were there 2 days ago and was interested in buy a full living room set and was told to do online application, the next day my customer which bought a home from in mobile home park, was there and my husband help her to pick up a love seat and he told her that we were interested in the set we like so she bought a black love seat and my husband told the guys that helping him loading that do not sell it will come in the next day and get it(12-28-18 Friday). Now the problem is that guy name David sold the loveseat (display) we like , to the lady that bought the black loveseat because she bring it back but can't sell us the display when we in need of the living room set for our new home. I do not appreciate that. Every other place would be willing told sell it to you if you need it because they can order to bring in and put it on the floor.
