Place ok parking lot a hole yplace cards not working on doors key entry only no breakfast I was charged $90 on booking .com but early that morning checked for receipt on emails rooms were $56 now room worth that a nite not $100 over priced Friday nite I don’t recommend this location at all for $100 if they charge $56 a night then yes worth that my oppion not a$100 nite locationRooms: Ok not ideal

Nice, small, and clean. Older hotel for sure. Cold water didn't work at sink. TV volume didn't work despite my husband who is fluent with machines/electronics working on it for 15 mins. Air Conditioner took a while too cool off room. But overall nice place to stay overnight. Bed is high too. Not made for short people! 😁

Ww booked online we have service dogs and put in the notes. Everything was great the first night. The next morning we took dogs to play and eat. When we got back our key didn't work. We asked at office the gentleman at deck told us because the dogs ww had to pay more or leave once we showed him the service tags everything was back to normal and we still got tonight to see how it go's but so far they have been very nice and we would not mind staying againthank you for the great service and understanding.The Dooley's

GET BACK ON THE ROAD, AVOID! WORST! DO not STAY!!! AVOID at all costs! I never leave reviews but this is a WARNING for anyone thinking they can spend a night here. GROSS BEDS, NO HOT WATER, STAFF THAT YELLS AT YOU, if you want that then have it I suppose. The owners will take advantage of any situation they can to exploit your stay here; primarily by crediting routine maintenance issues to your expense. The lady loves to claim that things were damaged during your stay when in fact the need for repair existed upon check in. If you are unfortunate enough for this to be your most convenient option, as we were, make sure you thoroughly inspect your room immediately upon check in, and promptly report any issue found to the front desk. Otherwise you will be sure to be blamed upon departure. Additionally there is absolutely no vending, or ice machine on premises. They will provide you with ice, however one trip to the office for this service and we quickly decided it was not worth the trouble.

I come down from South Carolina to see my daughter band competition and brought my daughters uncle with. We were not felt welcome at all stopping here and was told we would be gone after one night stay during the check in process. I advise anyone to only stay here if they have no other options and sleeping in you vehicle is still a better option.

On first inspection of the hotel it is small but clean looking. 3 American flags flying in front, but when you walk into the lobby it looks like a hindu temple. The owner is hard to understand but rates are reasonable. Rooms are small but very clean, NO bed bugs like in previous comments. Also no coffee maker in the room or lobby and hot water needs to be addressed. Its quiet and safe is the +. Housekeeping super friendly unlike the desk attendant. Rate was 55.00 + tax and I paid cash.

If you're looking for a quiet out of the way place this is it the room is super clean (1 of 30) we picked american family inn because there wasn't any availability in talladega but I'm not displeased it's clean well stocked and nicely decorated this was the best motel we've ever stayed in ! It was quiet ,clean and affordable although a little out of the way we will definitely stay here again

If i could give.zero stars i would. Run down old windows broke in a bunch of rooms. Cold water didn't work, tv woildnt work properly, cigarettes in smoking room found on floor, microwave kept beeping had to unplug.fridge was off and had a dirty towel in the bottom, last bit not least ain the middle of night roaches were crawling around. I took a shower and left. When I went to turn in key out the guy behind the counter was rude disrespectful and was yelling at me because I didnt pay right amount for pets He didn't say anything about how many dog I had at checkin. My two little dogs didnt bark nor cause any problems and I'm not paying any extra because that room was just disgusting. I told him everything wrong about that room and all he was concerned about was charging me for my extra dog of $10. So I would avoid this place like the plague if it could be condemned and shut down it should be do not go here

This place is a definite rip off if you allow it to be. The lady that runs it acts like she does not know how to operate a calculator very well. She will overcharge you in a jiffy and if you try and argue with her somehow she still comes out ripping you off doesn't make sense to me. Just be sure to have correct change if you decide to rent a room here. And the police around there are obnoxiously on duty and by God they let you know it. Is the crime really that bad in the neighborhood that you must be followed around every time you pass-through? This place is at a convenient location though. I just feel as though the staff or well the owners could lighten up a little on their customers privacy and their wallets. Quit overcharging and give correct change. I gave her $100 bill to pay for a $65 room and 2 can sodas for $1 each and she gave me $5 in change and I still had to explain to her how it was incorrect and then she acted like she could barely operate the calculator. It really felt like a bit of a scam like she expects you to feel sorry for her enough to leave a big tip or something lol. The rooms are pretty well kept clean though.

Nice room but kinda of high in price in my opinion. $78 a night with a pet but it was clean. But I did see a couple of small bugs, not sure but may of been baby roaches, idk for sure. Not a lot to choose from as far as food goes either.

I really wanted to like it. It's pretty much the only place in town. I have family down the street. It is clean-ish and has what you need. Owner-operators kinda treat customers like they're up to no good. they weren't in the best mood from the moment we walked in. They literally watched us from the moment we checked in until we actually went in the room. No legitimate suspicion. I suppose it was just a slow night. I'll probably be back - only because it is the only place close to my parents. Again, I really wanted to like it.

The employees/owners are not very friendly. There's a guy that came by during the day to ask if we needed anything, we asked to swap out dirty towels for a clean set and for some shampoo. We were asked to place the dirty towels outside on the window ledge and told the clean ones would be brought back (which they weren't) and he didn't think they had any shampoo. So when we were ready to take showers, we had to go to the front desk for the towels and they had no shampoo. What happened to the amenities at the hotel/motel/holiday inns (SAY WHAT?!?!?) The little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, etc was always one of he highlights of our day. This location isn't run professionally at all.

No interior-only locks or latches, meaning locks could be opened/picked from outside (doors open to the outside parking lot). Pillows are flat and one had a long black hair on it. Blankets are of poor quality and smelled funny. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Shower curtain and shower were not very clean. Service could have been friendlier. Didn't see the breakfast. Does have a fridge and microwave. Can park right outside of room. Pets ok. Paid $65 + $10 for dog.

I wish I could put 0 stars. Place was disgusting. When brought to the attention of the owner he yelled at us calling us liars. He was screaming. We were refused a refund, which is protected by credit card since services were never rendered. I wouldnt stay here if I was homeless.

On check in the room as nasty. Bed was wet. Toilet was nasty. Owners came in an called us liars. Owner was screaming. They refused refund.It's OK cause I'm going to do a chargeback and it's ultimately going to cost them more 😂😂😂😂.0 stars

This place was so dirty. I found my room to be so filthy in so many different areas of the room. There were ants all over window with a trail going to the sink and fridge. If Ashville had any other choices of hotel + motel I most certainly would not have stayed here. There was a Tornado warning so I had no other choice. But I did run up to Dollar General about 2 blocks away and got me some bleach cleaner and cleaned the entire room before I ever brought anything into the room. The lady that checked me in was very polite but the man that checked me out was very rude and so hateful.. Just check your room before you settle in!! Caution..

Motel is back off the road with no signs. Lady at desk doesn't speak English. There was no TV channel guide asked them about it and they told us to just flip through them. Had a very musky smell in room. Bed very springy. Would not recommend.

Lurking front desk person!! Everytime I came out of my room in the morning he would come out of the office and stand right by me. He needs to stay in the office till I checkout. It was like he thought I was going to keep the key or I was going to steal something. The room we're good nice flat screen Tvs up to date microwaves. Comfortable bed.

WORST MOTEL EVER! Rooms are INFESTED with BEDBUGS and ROACHES! No hot water at all! The indian man SCREAMED at me at the top of his lungs after i told his wife that i want a refund because i had to go buy 2 cans of bug spray and cleaning supplies to clean the filthy room.

Room was big but the bed was horrible. Room was gross. Owner knocked on the door at 8:30 am to demand we pay right that second if we are staying even though check out is at 10:30 am. Owners were very rude not worth 70 dollars a night
