Nice store, clean with courteous folks. Not a whole lot of parking. They also have hot food(Chicken, shrimp, fish etc) They open at 5:00 for breakfast.

Deli might as well serve yesterday's food, the last few times over several months that I have talked myself into stopping there was disappointing as always. I pass this store every day and drive a couple extra miles out of my way to stop for gas and or food, I don't have to, I choose to because the quality of selection/condition of the food is awful. Ashford is a small town and there isn't a lot of choices in places to stop, I would think that one of the two establishments that is there would strive to be at least satisfactory to their customers. Maybe I just have higher expectations for the quality of items I spend my money on than some. But when did above average but far from perfect become to much. In life we try to improve daily or at least I was raised to try to do. But this isn't about me, it's about the almost worst experience, service, selection, and quality of goods that this so called large chain of stores thinks is good enough and besides where else do they have to choose from mentality that so many like the owners have just been dealt and are used to it. An might I add that I can't stand being negative and complaining about anything any more than I do. Maybe in several more months I will try it again and hopefully it will be have improved or it will be the last time I stop at this place or any others that share the name they do.

I like cheese grits with a sausage Patty on top and asked if she could crumble it or cut it up well the 5seconds it takes to do this detailed process was just to much time talked to management well they're not supposed to do that really find it hard to believe they had an employee meeting no sausage Patty crumbling aloud it takes longer to make a sandwich then what I asked. The manager then said it was at the employees discretion well it is at my discretion to spend my money somewhere else

The sign set 2.79 for diesel,they charge me 2.89.I was paying cash.credit is 2.89.she explained,I must have debit card from their gas station to get discount.it is a small gas station,not a bank.they can’t issued debit card.just a trick to get customer,because down on the road is gas station with 2.77 diesel price.
