It's a DG...except this is one of those that has gas and groceries with is a huge plus. Gas prices are definitely competitive. Unfortunately like a lot of places these days shelves are becoming more and more empty narrowing our selections..don't think it's DG fault.. Staff seems average..could be a bit more organized and bathrooms cleaner with both working all the time. However the convenience of it makes up the difference.

I use my time to shop in this store in order to use a coupon for $5 off and I can't use the coupon because the weather took out something online and we can't use the coupon this store just about always has stocking karts in the aisles and you cannot maneuver very well inside the store now if I want the $5 off I have to go to another store and use my time there to pick up the items that I had already picked up

There gas pumps do not give receipts at the pumps when you use your card at the pumps! Another way for employees to steal from the company! This use to be a great store but it has gone down the drain !! I'm tired of not getting a receipts taking my business elsewhere where , people in this store have a I don't care attitude !This store needs some competition....I will tell everybody I know not to shop here !!

As stated by others, this used to be a good store, but for the last few months shelves are always empty, and carts with boxes of merchandise block multiple aisles. I've made multiple trips to this store for commonly needed items and they have not been stocked.Also, the door clearly states that the store opens at 7am. I arrived at the store at 7:20am, the doors were locked, and multiple people were waiting to enter the store. Five minutes later three employees show up, tell us that it will be a few minute before the store is open, and locked the door behind them.

A great place to gas and do quick simple shopping. Use the dollar general gift card and 3 cents off every gallon of gas. With gas tank like my truck has that's big savings. No fuel rewards are building up points. Just go inside add your amount to you gift card and swipe it at the pump. Love it.

It was a flippin disaster! There were rolling carts blocking every single aisle. They need to have people come at night to put the product on the shelves, because it doesn't get done otherwise. They expect 1 or 2 people to run the entire store, cashiering and stocking simultaneously, and it doesn't work. I also know first hand that they don't clean or sanitize anything. When it's time to close, they just lock the doors and go home.

The last few times I have been to the store the products have actually been on the shelf instead of stacked in the aisle in boxes that’s a definite plus

The worse Dollar Store I've ever visited. Couldn't get down the isles because of freight on the floor and mostly all the shelves were empty. They should at least get all the carts off the floor that had freight on them. Some isles were even blocked so you couldn't go down them

This use to be a really nice store. I dont know what happened to this place. Shelves are always empty, roll containers blocking isles you can't get to anything even if they had the shelves stocked.

This location has produce! Also a gas station! You can buy just about any vegetable, fruit, Frozen item, fridge, etc. Staff is nice and helpful! This location is hands down the best I've ever lived near! As of this post, open until 11! Everything you need!

Shopped for 30 minutes today and went to checkout with a full cart. I was asked "Do you have cash? I was told that my debit card could not be used. I never carry cash, especially during the pandemic. The shelves were bare on many aisles.

Always our go to place for gas. We use the gift card so that we get 3 cents off a gallon. May not seem like much but when you have 3 vehicles and always busy running around it does add uo.

Convenient on the way home , stop and shop. Somtimes the lines are long, making it slow to check out. There are always customers coming in with no mask that make me uncomfortable. Obviously they have no respect for themselves or others.

Nice to have these stores in small towns to keep from driving 30 mins to get items. Only complaint is the parking lots are usually full of trash laying on the pavement and the grass, overall bad look for curb appeal.

90%of the isles you couldn't get down because they were full of carts and boxes. They have signs up saying you have to wear a mask but the employees ARE NOT wearing masks! This store was worse than any Dollar General I've ever been in and that is pretty bad! No pride whatsoever in their stores! I'd rather shop at Walmart! And from now on I will! This place is disgusting!

I am giving this store three stars because I have not been in there in about two months because of an incident that happened with an employee named Brittany. I did not see her in there last week when I went so if she is no longer working there then this review deserves 5 stars. She gave such bad customer service that I had to call corporate office, and I never call corporate office on people because I know how hard it is to find jobs nowadays. But when I was being pointed at and laughed at behind my back that is where I drew a line. But other than that everyone in there is always very nice and friendly and always very helpful. So I believe I will start going back to this Dollar General again. The manager of this particular Dollar General is always extremely nice and tried her heart is that day to resolve the problem but Brittany just thought she knew everything. Thank goodness I can finally start going back into the store since she is no longer working there. I just don't want to spend thousands of dollars a year in a place where I'm going to get laughed at behind my back but like I said other than her everybody else is phenomenal.

y'all... THIS was the most awesome DG I've ever been in... They have groceries and PRODUCE!!! They also have a gas pump and they offer a gas card that you can load once and use multiple times until it's gone. Find you a DG like this and go there!!!!👍🏻😉

I buy my gas here using their fuel card. The cost is usually the lowest around. This store sells fresh foods. It's always super busy.

This is my neighborhood store and I'm proud to say it was up to it 2 days ago. Clean, orderly, and comfortable. The laborers was very courteous.

Only reason I could not give 5 stars is due to digital coupon issues. However, with that being said, the management at this particular location always try to fix any issues if they can! Love my local DG!

Wish I could rate my visit yesterday on August 7 a negative star.Service sucks in Ashford, AL store.Cashier finished checking me out (well sorta) and walked away. I ask if I could get my items in a bag and she said yes go ahead.When did bagging become the job of the customer?

This is a good place to shop lots of different groceries and items to buy pretty much everything you need including gas I would give this a 5-star rating if they could keep some good help it's always a long line and like one maybe two cashiers and 30 customers

I found the Dollar general in Ashford to be very clean and everything was properly placed on the shelf and the prices were excellent the quality was good the restroom facilities are set up for handicapped people and I have a ride variety of fruit and meech everything was perfect I most of my visits to the Ashford Dollar general and Scott and Haley and all the people are so helpful .
