The Dollar General had a wide selection of floor cleaner. The fall decor was on the shelves so we grabbed some new welcome mats for the lake house. Then we watched the sun set as we loaded the truck.

Little bit of everything. Most important they've got the basics so I don't have to make 30 mile trips to town every week. Only complaint is they really need to pay attention to the lines and open the second register when customers stack up. Shouldn't have to spend more time waiting to check out than I do shopping

This particular store is not very goodThe employees are slow and seem to lack knowledge of their inventory and using the registers.Employees are not friendly.I have to watch every price because of their miss labeling of their price signs. Everytime I go in, something rings up the wrong price. I have brought this to their attention but they don't see to care. Watch the soda prices especially.Also, if you drink energy drinks, watch the price. The shelf label always reads 2.00 for noz and monster drinks but they ring up 2.10. I have taken photos, reported this so many times, I can't count anymore for 4 months or so to the management and up. Till this day, nothing has changed. I wouldn't even rate them one star but doesn't give you a choice.Sometimes the back isle's are crowded with mdse on carts and others are to narrow. Sometimes it's cleaner but rare.I always see the cashier putting up mdse on shelves when slow. Never seen more than 3 employee's there at one time.

This store was out of so many things in the make up area. There was plastic containers laying out with merchandise piled up in them and the store was filthy. An employee walked past me a couple of times and he never spoke to me. I didn't even bother to shop further into the store. I won't be visiting at this location again.

Great! The general manager was paying attention when the cashier cashed me out. She noticed I liked $0.10 for my $5 coupon to be usable. That helped me save some money!!☺

I’ve been to this store four times and they can never take my debit card. They apparently are a cash only store. It’s 2022 get your stuff fixed.

They have a good selection of items, and most of the time have the shelves stocked pretty good. Staff is always friendly when we come in.

Arley has the best Dollar General in Alabama.The management staff is awesome and very helpful and friendly. They always have what you need and hardly ever run out of what you are looking for. 10 stars!!!

I visited the Dollar General in Manchester. That's really a Jasper, Alabama address. 🙂 Anyway, I used to do some merchandising for this particular store so you might consider it bias but the employees there are really nice people who love to help. Their store manager, Treasa, is great, too! Though the store is small it is not without its little "treasures." I call them "treasures" because I've found decorative items, inspirational items, kitchen tools and decor, wall laminations...some things you just can't find at your local Walmart! Their prices on these items are reasonable, too. Especially when you compare them to Hobby Lobby. So, Dollar General has become one of my quiet out-of-the-way spots to look for (and usually find!) a one-of-a-kind gift that guarantees delight to the receiver every time!

Check reader was messed up and couldn't use a check. Also, couldn't use my digital coupons because "their internet" was down, so they said. Lost a lot of time at the register, not to mention money!!

This is the best store in the county with friendly employees and smiling faces. Well stocked shelves and clean aisles makes shopping in the Arley store so easy.
