Ordered a poster for my daughters soccer team. It turned out great, was ready in a couple of hours, was boxed so as not to bend it too much and the sales associate was so helpful and made me check out the poster first to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Great customer care at this CVS in Arab, Al.

Literally the most useless pharmacy in Arab. Technicians are either incompetent or not trained either way I would not trust them with anyone’s medication as it can be life threatening. If I could give 0 stars I would. Shut this useless location down.

Every time I’ve ever been to this pharmacy they can’t fill a prescription bc they are out of the medication but then I go to ANY OTHER PHARMACY and they have what I’m looking for and provide a professional service with a smile. This has happened multiple times to both myself and my husband and every time the pharm techs are unnecessarily rude. I gave them one more shot today only because other pharmacies had closed… and they were out of yet another medication and they were rude.. AGAIN. Went down the road to a different pharmacy and they had lathe med and were pleasant throughout the process. Never again.BUT the lady at the front checkout at CVS was an absolute sweetheart and she was so sweet to my boys. My issue lies 100% with pharmacy.

Was in drive threw line for an hr. Then was rudely told I must come in to get my daughters medication. I come there are very unprofessional and rude saying they are to busy to feel prescription till the next day I told them it's for my child's mental health and it must get filled today. Waited another 30 min to get the meds. Guess what they gave me the wrong medication if I didn't catch this it could have really hurt or possibly killed my daughter.

On 2/22/22 my boyfriends dad was told his prescription couldn’t be filled because they were too busy and that it could be picked up in the morning. My boyfriend just had back surgery so I called up to inform them of the circumstances and politely asked if it was at all possible to take the circumstances into consideration. Granted it was only 45 mins before closing, but upon speaking to the female pharmacist she assured me she would try her best to get it filled before they closed and was unaware of the procedure he just had. She was very delightful to speak to and also was able to get his prescription filled. I’m very grateful that she went above and beyond to ensure that his prescription was filled.

So once again the Karen comes out in this pharmacy pharmacist.I called a week ago about my prescriptions due on Friday January 5th. I called because I wanted to make sure they would have enough medication to fill my 3 month supply. I was told by one nice lady in this pharmacy yes we will note. Monday January 2nd of this week I called again, the gentleman I encountered today was who I spoke too. He stated it’s not due for refill until Friday and I agree I just want to make sure you have the medication.Today Saturday Jan 6th I go to get my medication and what happens, they cannot fill the prescription. Pathetic!!So now we discuss what are my options, change to 1 month prescription or go to another pharmacy. I did everything to make sure this did not happen. I am calling another pharmacy to see if they can fill because the last time cvs changed my prescription I could never get it back to 3 month. The same guy I spoke to Monday I will need to wait 45 minutes to get the 30 days supply. He just counted the bottle for how many they had on hand. The bottle is still setting on the counter and I have to leave and come back. I said no and he goes to the pharmacist.Here comes Karen. She does not want to accept they are wrong she wants to get into a debate. I tell her give me my other prescription and she says she does not have to service me and closes the window. She obviously thinks she is still in 1960 Alabama. I left.I called another cvs in Huntsville. By the time I arrived at the pharmacy (40 minutes) the prescription was fill and I was met by a professional.

They have a great selection of items. Was able to fine a holiday pack of Chapstick that nobody else had. Great gadgets for Christmas gifts. In love with the Peanuts fireplace Christmas decoration! Super-helpful cashier took me to all the things I was looking for. Plus, $4 in extra bucks on my receipt!

Failing refrigeration with little notice of affected prescriptions. Understaffed. Drive through closed during drive through hours. Long wait in line only to find out the prescription that was promised at 1pm is out of stock at 6pm. Absolutely unacceptable. Will be switching to a local pharmacy. CVS in Arab is rubbish.

Our first visit here was awful. We have always been CVS customers, but that will now change. We just moved to Arab so our good history with CVS is from a different location. The pharmacist shouted from the center of her station instead of coming to speak with me. It was humiliating and unprofessional. The sweet person working the registers was appalled and apologized on her behalf. We just walked out. We will be in search of a replacement.

I may be the exception but my experiences over the years have always been very good. On Thursday, August 26th, the Pharmacist was circumstantially alone and she was a superhero helping people at a frenetic pace with a smile in her eyes (mask covered her nose and mouth.) Remarkable service at a busy time! Had to make note since it left me in awe of her "above-the-call" service. Always good for me but this was unbelievable.

I have used this pharmacy for years. I am so tired of coming here now. They NEVER have my prescriptions even though I get the same things every month for me and my son. I ALWAY end up waiting for 2 or 3 days later after we run out. I like the prices here so I am using another cvs just not this one. Not to mention if you call you are on hold forever. Then the lady pharmacist and 1 of the other girls are just rude!

people are always nice, I just wish it didn’t take forever for them to fill prescriptions. Most of the time, if it’s ordered that day, we probably need it that day. Now I have to go overnight in pain and waited for 3 hours for one prescription and still didn’t get it. :(

This is just a review of their pharmacy. I do not have enough experience with the retail part of their store to comment on that.Most of the pharmacy staff at CVS are friendly enough, but some are not willing to be upfront with you about your options when filling a prescription, depending on which individual you talk to. I will not name names but after reading some of the other reviews, I feel like there are a couple of individuals who make a habit of this.My usual pharmacy was closed on a Sunday so I went to the local CVS because I was extremely sick and needed the meds prescribed to me ASAP. I asked the first lady at the window (who was very kind and helpful) about the price of a particular prescription out of the three that I tried to get filled. She told me the generic would be just over $20 with my insurance. I leave my prescriptions and come back in about half an hour to find a guy at the window who tells me that same prescription was now going to cost me $75.He said it wasn't covered by my insurance when I KNOW for a fact that it is and the lady before had even verified as much. Thinking it was just because they had mistakenly chosen to fill the name brand, I asked the guy at the window about the generic equivalent. He replied with a shrug and said "maybe you should take allergy medicine instead."The following day, I contacted my usual pharmacist, Barry Latham, who assured me that yes, the prescription in question did have a generic equivalent that was covered by my insurance and it would cost me THREE DOLLARS. The bottom line is that CVS was refusing patient consultation on my options of generic over brand name and trying to rip me off. This should be criminal.Needless to say, I called corporate and complained and my husband was so mad that he went back to CVS and asked to speak with the pharmacy manager. He was told that the manager was not in and whomever it was he talked to seemed just as confused as we had been the previous day.I urge everyone to steer clear of getting any prescriptions filled here if you can help it. If your insurance is restrictive on which pharmacies you can use, or you do not have insurance, check with Publix.

The Absolute BEST staff EVER!! The front of the store staff goes above and beyond. Not many places you can walk into these days and they remember you and hold conversations. Jennie is always there to greet you with a smile and always has positive things to say. Haley is always talking to my little girls as well as me, and is genuinely a sweet heart. The general manager Ricky is always so welcoming and kind. All together they make that store, and as a customer, I'd rather go there and spend a little extra money and see them with their positive attitudes than to go to Walmart. My 3 year old always ask if she can see her friends at CVS. Great store with great people! I hope they never ever leave!

I use CVS regularly and I am always satisfied. The pharmacists are friendly and consistently helpful. This place has a place to dispose of expired meds. I looked a long time to find a place willing to do that. They have a large selection of candy.

I’ve been seeing the same Doctor for eight years with the same prescriptions. All of a sudden, they cannot fill them anymore, quoting “My doctor fills prescriptions out of the scope of her practice,” The new pharmacists, Jessie and Brad, are a joke.No problem, two pharmacies down the road in Arab will fill them with no questions asked. Joke of a pharmacy.

While I like the pharmacy and it's associates, I hate their call messaging system. Every time I call to refill a prescription I have listen to umpteen options. If I need to speak to the actual pharmacist, I have to listen to garbled music. When the pharmacist finally answers..you guessed it, the call gets disconnected.

I went to the cvs in arab to check on the price for getting my daughters prescription filled where we have done business for 10 years . I spoke to the lady at the counter and ask her how much it would be to fill the prescription she looked up our insurance information and said it will be $25 I said ok then go ahead and fill it. Publix offers the same abt for free but I wanted to use our pharmacy in arab 40 minutes later when they call and I go to pick up the prescription they said it will be $45 I said before I left the lady told me $25 to fill it and went back to the back to make sure you had it and she cane back and said you did. The pharmacy manager said sorry we used the generic on someone else and this one is $45 with your insurance. So unprofessional what is the point of even asking what the medication is going to cost when they charge you what they want to anyway. Everyone please go to publix free medications and see if the medication you need is on there they also over diabetes and blood pressure medicine as well as abt went to publix in guntersville and paid $0. This used to be a good pharmacy and it now looks like it is ran by a bunch of kids.

They send you text your medicine is ready. Go and pick it up its not ready you have to come back in a hour. You come back in an hour and the pharmacist hasn't check it yet. Have to drive around building and get back in line wait another 30 minutes.

Pharmacy employees have the WORST customer service attitudes ever. I hate that as far as insurance goes CVS is the only one I can use due to the next closest store would be 30 minutes away. Otherwise I would never visit this location again.

I went today to purchase a vitamin product. I searched for it myself for awhile and could never find it. I went to the pharmacy counter and asked a worker standing there if they carried this certain product. She told me if we have it, it'll be on the shelf. She did not offer to help me find it nor did she seem to want to be helpful. I gave up and left.
