Some items are just a tad on the high side. However, it's easy to shop! I prefer Foodland over the competitors. Been shopping there for years. Since we lost Piggly Wiggly, Foodland provided that home town family friendly shopping environment. Being able to shop without being shoulder to shoulder takes the stress out of it! Great rewards system too! They'll continue to get my business until I move on to the next life!

Visited on a VERY busy Saturday morning, right before bad weather was to hit. Place was packed, but everything was stocked well, it was clean, and there were PLENTY of registers open to accommodate the crowd. I was pleasantly impressed, as I don't go there often. Would choose this store over some "others" that are much larger but way more work and waiting.

A very nasty place! Only went in one time and walked out after using the restroom. It's filthy, and it stinks. I could not purchase anything there. I was afraid to take anything from there to my home. This can't be healthy!!

Got sick from a couple items they had on shelf.. I asked a young employee stocking soda about the drinks that were on sale and I got a eye roll and a blank stare. Cashier was rude and looked at me like I had 3 heads and 13 eyes... I won't be back would rather just waist my money else where

Something for everyone whether it's a meat and 2...or 3...style plate from the hot bar, hand breaded chicken tenders or these subs and sandwiches...no matter what you choose great food at a great price....

Ordered 4 lbs chicken fingers from the deli for a Christmas meal. Huge hit!And I personally love the mac and cheese in the deli.

This is the place , they have my fav soda. It's really nice they carry it. When I first arrived here in Alabama. I called ask over. Everywhere they sell soda.i was getting really discouraged, but then then I called food land. It's a grocery store here in Arab Al. When I called food land. I believe the manager ishould of checked my other review in sure guys name is in that one. Well he said. Well how do you know if it has real sugar. ,oh, I told him excited , cause this guy sounded like he really would go and see. So I told him the real sugar will be a Lil bit darker blue. And on it where I'd cursive it'll say real sugar instead of Pepsi cola. He came back to the phone told me yes told me exact prices and sizes. I told him I was coming and he told me his name said they were on a end cap but ask for him he would show me. That was July 2.2023. So that's the store I go to if I need groceries. In fact I went today ,in fact I did.and I of course bought me 3 of those 8 pks of Lil bitty cans. I wish they were bigger !@@

Love the hot food and the friendly helpful staff. Some good sales too. My biggest issue with their store is the consistently leaky freezers and the hot stuffiness of the store. They always have paper towel rolls up against the freezers to prevent leaks but the water leaks and the floors look dirty there. Needs repair or will be a health hazard. Hope they can fix it soon.

Wonderful employees always nice! Best place to buy steaks! I love their chicken salad. Clean store they will help you if ask also they will help you with your groceries taking them to the car put them in for you! Just a good home town grocery store quick check out never long lines!

I love this store and how much variety they offer, however, as a local, I shop here often and for the last few months, there has been no air in the store. It is hard to grocery shop in heat especially in crowds. This is ridiculous, and needs to be addressed immediately as it poses a health and safety hazard. A lot of business is going to be lost due to this and can definitely result in a lawsuit. Please fix the air especially for the employees who are required to be there and working their tails off!

I was shopping and saw some food priced 2 for$7, when I got to the register, they rang up $6.29 each. I thought the manager was coming out to help me instead, they STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE FOR WHAT THEY HAD MARKED/stocked WRONG! I THOUGHT THEY WAS SUPPOSE TO SELL ITEMS TO CUSTOMERS FOR WHAT THEY HAD IT PRICED!

Always clean and organized. Fruits and vegetables fresh. We went to pick up few things and some we weren't expecting. Lol. Water is a great deal right now. Meat cuts look really good. Great place to shop.

The older cashiers here are rude, they don't tell you hello nor have a nice day, if your skin isn't white they won't touch your hand to give you your change. The younger cashiers don't act this way. I said this about two or three years ago. I told the manager about this. He really took in consideration my feeling and things have changed. The cashier's no longer act racist, they are friendly and helpful. This place has really gotten it's act together. Thank you!

Employees are lovely! I am recovering from a broken leg, and I use the cart to lean on to walk the isles. So many employees inquired about my injury, wished me well, and helped me to reach things that were elusive.

Foodland is always good. We just went in and get a few groceries and ended up getting more. They have the best pick five deal. Employees are very helpful and the store is clean and neat.

We were driving back from Cullman and stopped in here during one of their weekend super sales. Some of the prices of the items I use was amazing. I was able to get Gatorade, Coke 2 liters, snack cakes, etcetera, for next to nothing compared to what I usually pay for these items. I liked the layout of the store. I was able to find everything I needed pretty quickly. The only issue I had was the wait time for check-out. I really can't complain about that though, because there were a lot of people in there taking advantage of the same deals as I was.

I had never shopped at foodland before. But it was Thanksgiving Day and Walmart was closed. So it was a real life saver to see a grocery store open because I'm kind of like the last minute guy that buys the stuff everyone else forgets in the family. And it's really handy to have a store that's open so you can just run in and grab some things. Thank you foodland.
