I am giving this 1 star review based on correspondence with the office this morning ... RUDE OFFICE PRACTICE.I have now made 3 phone calls to the office to establish care for a new patient. I have not been told of the no new patients at this time, until this phone call. Told the young lady that maybe they need to make sure ALL staff knows this, as I was going to be set up for an appointment for next week when i spoke to them yesterday, was also told to call back today to see if any appointments were open via cancelation since I had to look at my work calendar to see what worked for me. After speaking to the young lady today and telling her maybe they need to inform all staff of the no new patients at this time, she hung up on me. RUDE.

I called to find out about the protocol for euthanasia. I found out that this vet does it without sedation. I also had a bad experience with this place several years ago when my dog tested positive for parvo after the vaccination at this place.

Our pups was hit by a car, and when they were treating her she got a little aggressive, ended up trying to nip a vet. They got aggressive with us, and refused service to our dog. I understand if you need to refuse service, but there is no reason you should talk to us the way they did. At least be professional.

We never knew ahead of time that Rolling Hills does not provide emergency treatment for their patients. My 13 year old had to be put to sleep at a vet that we had never met. When we rushed her to Rolling Hills to see Dr Tracy in January 2021 we were just told that he wasn't in yet, he was booked for that day and we could go to Auburn. Auburn is hours away from where we live and my dog was in crisis and couldn't breathe. This was an emergency. What would have been appropriate was to have been told that while Dr Tracy was our family vet, he did no do emergency medicine, and it would have been helpful to be aware of this information before the day that my sweet Lilly went into a CHF crisis, especially because she had never been diagnosed with CHF.It took me 18 months before I stepped foot back into that building and took my other dog back and had this conversation with Dr Tracy. I really do like him. He is down to earth, he doesn't charge as much as other vets and there is a more personal feel to his practice, which is why I returned to give them a second chance.

Dr Whitaker and his staff went out of their way to help me with my baby Kipper as much as they could. Happy to say he is feeling so much better. They do all they can for you and do what they can to save you money. Excellent care, I would highly recommend their care to anyone. So thankful I tried them. Very happy with my experience!

We love staff. Always willing to help & Drs will work with you regarding care & payment for care of your beloved fur baby. Our Mr. Tazz is an old boy, & don't deal real well with fuss. He talks so we hear bout it for sure. But he loves the staff & they love him. We also like the fact that they hold a vaccination clinic on a weekend in our town too. No appt needed. Actually it's the 29th of this month in Heflin. Call clinic & get full details. Prices can't be beat. Rabies are being reported throughout Bama. If you love your fur baby a rabies shot is well worth it.

Best Vet I’ve ever used! Dr. Whitaker TRULY cares about animals and NEVER tries to load you up on unnecessary test and such like other vets I’ve been to. He and the entire staff care both about their patients and owners. Dr. Whitaker will always council you on both pros and cons so you can make a good informed decision on what’s best for your pet as well as your pocketbook. So many other vets just try to guilt you into $1000’s in medicine and treatments whether they will really help or not, but that NEVER happens here.It is very obvious that Dr. Whitaker is truly concerned about what his animal patients really need!♥️Love Dr. Whitaker! He and staff are the BEST!♥️

I had to get my husky her rabies shot because it had expired. I couldn't get a hold of other vets and the ones that answered were not helpful and kinda rude. My regular place is closed and my dog has a grooming appointment so I needed it asap. This business has very polite, respectful and helpful employees. I enjoyed the trip here and appreciated them a lot for their help.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star! How could you own an animal clinic and not have any care for animals! My dog was having multiple seizures back to back in the parking lot and told us they couldn’t help us and to leave!!

I took my 2 dogs in to be weighed so I could purchase flea medicine . It was Saturday and close to their closing time. The 2 young ladies working were the sweetest to us and my dogs. Thanks so much for being so kind and distracting 1 dog while the other ate her flea pill.

To anyone complaining about money; this offices charges much more reasonable prices than what I expected (I have ALWAYS owned a cat. I am familiar with the costs of things), and they even try to help those who can't afford it. The staff (and live-in kitty cats) were absolutely amazing. They genuinely care about animals and they enjoy what they do. I am so happy I chose to set my appointment because I will now NEVER take my cat anywhere else. They handled my cat perfectly and they were very attentive to what my concerns were. By far, the best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to! Thanks for being awesome, Rolling Hills!

I have used many Veterinary Services through the years, this is far the Best one ever. Dr Tracy knows what he is doing and he cares. I also like the fact that he does not sugar coat anything. The staff he gas working for him is also very good, they are really nice. If I have to leave one of my fur babies there, I don't worry...I know they ate in great hands

I have been using Dr Whitaker for over 20 years. I've used several vets in the past so I have quite a bit to compare too. I can say without any hesitation that as long as Tracey is in business he will most certainly be the doctor for my animals. His and his staffs personalities put the animals at ease instantly and they make the experience good for owner and pet. If you in the White Plains area you definitely owe it to your pet to try them out. If you live a long way away there are motels in Heflin and I Oxford to stay in so you can let these amazing people take care of your furry family members.

I take my cat, Hercules, to this vet. The staff is always friendly and great with my cat. I have used other vets but Rolling Hills isn't expensive like the other ones I used in the past. Honestly, it wouldn't matter the price because the quality of the staff members is a big + in my book.

Love doc whitaker and his staff. Our dog had acquired killer breath and he knew right away that he had 2 sticks embedded in his upper mouth. We would never have known. Gave him some antibiotics and he was good to go.
