We had the best experience!!! The Dr. was super nice and explained everything and answered all my questions without making me feel like a bother! Very informative and super nice staff! And if you have a nervous baby he will do everything to make that baby feel safe! My pup went in scared and came out happy! Definitely will start bringing all my babies here!!!

Dr. Brom is a wonderful, caring doctor that takes time for you and your pet. He will go in great detail explaining what he finds and what he feels needs to be done for the best outcome. His prices are comparable to others in the area.

My Akita girl was limping bad. I took her in and a 2 min exam later he says it is her knee. That ACL surgery is 5k but she hasn't reached that point yet. I decided a 2nd opinion was needed because how little time he spent examining her. At 2nd vet she was x-rayed and it was discovered that she has bone cancer. We have anywhere from a month to 6 months left with her. If we are lucky. As vet explained it would have already reached her lungs by now. She would be 12 in December but we are not gonna make it that long

I've been going to Greenbriar Animal clinic for 10 years for all of my pets. They are absolutely the best, hands down. Awesome staff and even more awesome vet! You will leave there with a full understanding of everything and a still have money in your pocket!

I called to make sure they could treat bearded dragons. I was told yes, they have seen beardie before and the vet was familiar with them.. I took my 4 yo beardie, that I hand raised since she was 2 months old here because her regular vet was on vacation. She was refusing to eat. The vet came in, didn't touch her or check her over. I asked him if he needed to hold her he said no. He had a pair of scissors that he used to pry her mouth open, he talked for a minute asked me if I could do shots, I said yes, and put her on baytril for 5 days. I got home gave her her first shot. I found her dead the next morning. A few hours later I found out she was egg bound and needed emergency surgery. Final thought.: if you love your beardie don't go here. I was desperate and was going by their assurance that they knew what they were doing I now have a backup beardie vet in case of vacation...

Our family really likes the vet here at Greenbrier Animal Clinic. We haven't had any problems with the veterinarian.However, yesterday we decided to try out the grooming services for our family dog which is a miniature schnauzer. We asked for a standard schnauzer cut. We stressed this three times, and even added that we would like it short on her back, and to leave her legs fluffy. When we picked her up she was scalped from head to toe, even on her nose. When we questioned the staff we were told to "talk with the groomer". Which we had done three times prior to the appointment. The groomer never expressed concerns with the cut beforehand nor did she have questions about it. We will not be back for grooming services.

Dr. Brom is really great with our cat. The office staff is exceptionally nice and professional. My only complaint is the wait time with an appointment. It's usually over an hour past my appointment time before I get to go back to a room. Makes it difficult to schedule and go during the work week.

Updated review as of 12/20/2023 -I have used Greenbrier Animal Clinic EXCLUSIVELY for all of my pets for years (and there have been several pets). I have also seen several reviews over the years about how rude the staff was. Well, that had never been my experience, UNTIL TODAY!!! I have even recommended them to other pet owners who have decided to use them because they know how I am about my babies.Well, today, while trying to change appointments for my babies due to a work scheduling conflict, I was treated extremely rudely by one of the staff. Rebecca didn't want to hear anything I had to say about the information I had already been given on previous calls. She only wanted to tell me how wrong I was. It was all I could do to keep from losing it over the phone long enough to get their appointments rescheduled.If it weren't for the wonderful treatment that I have received in the past, my 7 babies and I would be going elsewhere quickly. This one really got under my skin and if it happens again, we will be changing our choice of animal clincs. It's sad that I had to find out the hard way that some of the reviews I'd read in the past were true.Let me also make it clear that this is not a review of Doc. Brom, or any of the other staff members at GAC, they are all still wonderful in my book!***********************************I have nothing but good things to say about MY experience today, and I always enjoy the interaction that Doc and the staff have with all 4 of my pets. Everyone there has always seemed knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly towards my furbies and me. I would have given GAC 5 stars as I normally do, if my daughter hadn't informed me that she had been treated rudely by one of the staff while she was outside of the clinic with 2 of the 4 pets that we had taken in for their yearly checkups. As you can imagine, taking 4 pets in is not an inexpensive proposition, but even if I/we had only gone with 1 or just to pick an item up, etc., rude and disrespectful treatment is in no way acceptable...especially when we weren't rude to anyone there. I will continue to patronize GAC and I am hoping that this was the last incident like this that we ever have. I still love GAC!

Their vet will treat chickens! Was very busy but effective. Kind and courteous staff. Clean office. Instructed us on home care and made sure we understood. Answered all our questions. Even though they were very busy they took their time and we didn't feel rushed at all!

I have been bringing my 2 GSDs here since we moved to the area. In the 5 months we have been patients at the clinic I have spent well over $1K. I took my female to get spayed and was told she needed updated vaccines even though they were done at our first visit. I thankfully saved the invoices to prove they were already done and called to let the tech know not to further vaccinate my dog. I was rudely asked in the middle of speaking “can I speak now??” And the tech proceeded to very condescendingly tell me vaccines are only good for a year. Well they were done in 03/22, so how are they out of date? No apology for being rude and trying to scam more money out of me. Every time I go there my dogs are given treatments I didn’t ask for or consent to. Including buying expensive medicines in a larger quantity than required. After picking up my dog from her spay she seemed nervous and scared and would t stop shaking the entire way home. Not typical behavior from her at all. My dogs won’t be going back. I won’t recommend this facility to ANYONE. I would suggest that you keep your own records as this place likes to overcharge, give unnecessary treatments, make you pay a percentage fee to pay by card (even though the service they use charges a flare rate), and then treat you like garbage.

Unprofessional Grooming! Took my indoor cat in for a first time Grooming. I was not presented with a package option, but asked what I wanted. I replied basic grooming and for him to be trimmed down aroundhis behind. He got Shaved on his belly! Why? I don't know. The worst part is he now has Fleas from this establishment !He has never scratched like this before.Never will I take my cat there for ANYTHING because of this grooming experience.

I have pet rats and there are no local exotic vets so I made a lot of calls and this one agreed to see my sick girl. Such a kind staff and reasonable costs. Highly recommend

I love going there for my dogs care. The techs are very loving toward my dog and were very gentle while giving her her annual shots and drawing blood. They didn't even mind the enormous about of her she sheds. The doctor is also first class. He's gentle and will be doing some need surgery in the coming year and doesn't try to push unnecessary treatment on your animal. I wish I had tried them sooner.Leah's, Mom.

I have only met one vet here and she was very friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair, average. The staff are sometimes nice and friendly and then other times not as much. Overall I have had good experiences with them. I think they take walk ins on some things but I'd make an appointment because they are always busy. I have met the other vet here. He is friendly and knowledgeable. I like this place. They have grooming and do a great job. They try to work with everyone to get you and your pet what you need. The pricing is still reasonable. I moved to Birmingham and I still drive back to have my dogs seen here.

Recently moved from out of state and after a 15-year relationship with my previous vet who I adored and trusted. This was very hard for me, and I was very anxious about finding a new vet. Did my research online, read reviews, checked out their website. So we had our first appointment today with our new pup. Everyone in the office was just as nice as could be. Very warm and welcoming. And the doctor, he was just awesome! He spent a good half hour with us talking about care and specific things that I would need in care with my cats as well as my dogs. He answered ALL of my questions and was very thorough. I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with my decision to become clients of this practice!

I have not used them but did contact them by phone. My dog had gotten into a fight & I'm still unsure if it was with another dog on OUR PROPERTY or if she was fighting a coyote bc she had a hole in her neck/ throat area with something lodged into it. I called & unfortunately, it was late-ish, but the pricing I was given was a lot, to say the least. Therefore, I called around until I found someone who would not charge $350+ (deposit + visit + if they had to do x-rays, etc).

Had a 3:00 appointment, it's now after 4:00. No one can tell me how far they are running behind, nor what time the appointments are for that they are now calling back. Have had to to revert to waiting outside in the rain with all 6 dogs. Will update with quality of service if we decide to continue to wait.Decided not to wait...as employees continued to come outside to look for vehicles that were no longer there, I continued to ask for an update. No one said, let me find out for you, we're sorry, this isn't normally the way we operate, you're next, there's two people ahead of you... anything of that sort. No one said, "we haven't forgotten about you...in fact, I'm quite sure that they never realized that we left at 4:15. This experience was beyond frustrating and there was no appreciation nor respect shown. I was proud to reschedule with Lincoln vet today and it was $524.00 well spent. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The lobby was closed, but they came to the car to retrieve the animals two minutes BEFORE my appointment time, and kept me informed throughout the 40 minute appointment.
