Such a horrible experience. One young lady they had running the register was absolutely nasty to me. Halloween items were 50% off and toys were 60% off. I noticed that she was manually ringing items up by typing them in and the numbers weren't right. I said something about the percentages and she snapped at me and said that essentially the way she rang it all up was right. I didn't want to argue with her so I paid and then walked over to one of the managers to get my items corrected. I did mention that I tried to correct the young lady before I paid and the manager confirmed that I was overcharged on all the toys I was purchasing. Another manager came over and helped me get a refund and then they called the young lady over who had overcharged me. She stood there looking absolutely sour in the face. I figured she might not be having a good day so I ask "Are you okay" she responded very rudely again with that attitude and my daughter heard her mocking me when she walked away repeating "aRe YOu OkaY" in a childlike tone. The first manager went over to show her how to properly ring up toys. Her behavior was ridiculous and I hope she starts looking for another job where she doesn't affect people's entire days with her horrid attitude. That's an awful way to go through the day. This was our first time ever going into this store and we were very excited to find so many deals. We even read the signs on the door before going in so that we wouldn't inconvenience any of the worker by not following rules. We used the website to find the prices so we wouldn't have to constantly ask employees prices, we did everything we were supposed to do and to still end up being treated like garbage was ridiculous. I am grateful for the managers that came over to help and were very respectful to me and my daughter. Hope she gets the help she needs.

Had a terrible experience in the Anniston store ,one of the assistant managers was talking about me and my mom to the other like a petty school kid (and we don’t know either of them personally )she then came to the register being rude and smart . The cashier was embarrassed and was nice and tried to smooth things over ,I emailed corporate and they just thanked me for letting them know about the occurrence and I never heard back .would not recommend anyone to go there to be bullied (for no reason )by their employees I would give them a zero on their customer service and appreciation

Great place to find a bargain. Plan on spending time there (not a bad thing) searching for deals because items are not all in one place, some are in different places in the store. But patience will pay off in the long run. Staff is very helpful and they are constantly restocking new merchandise daily.

This place is amazing! I'm so glad we have something like this in town. I am very picky on the shoes I wear,but I found some awesome flip flops in here that I wear every day now. They are so comfortable! I went over tax free weekend and was extremely happy on the prices I paid! Not only did I get all of my son's back to school pants for 3$ each,they were also giving away the antibacterial wipes for free! (These are the ones that are on the wish list for school supplies) I loved that they didn't have a limit on these so I was able to get both of my kids and nephew some to take to school and some to use at home! The employees in here always have smiles on:) and they are always ready to help you with anything you need. I highly recommend shopping here! If I could give more stars I would!

We came in for a little Black Friday shopping later in the day. We CHECKED the signs on the door because we know holidays can affect stuff. NOTHING said anything about closing early. I worked retail for a while so I know to check signs on holidays because hours can be different. This Dirt Cheap is open until 9 PM every day until Sunday. We go there pretty regularly. We walk in and are very rudely yelled at stating they were closed. It would have been different if we would’ve been addressed kindly, but that kind of customer service is horrid.

we went mainly for funko pops, we got a lot of them there but some prices were off for the quality they are but still good findsdefinitely not organized but it honestly made it more fun to look🤣 we also got our cats some new toys for great prices

Dirt Cheap is the best bargain store ever. These lemon pictures were only $10. We travel hours to go to Dirt Cheap each year. You have to dig for bargains and open to a little chaos. It makes a fun day.

My experience was unsatisfactory. I got a curtain topper out of box that said $1.25 and was told it was 5.00. I got a pillow out of the same box that said pillows were $4.25 and was told it was $12.00 and I would have sworn I say $5.00 on the screen she did something on her computer and said it was $12.00. I didn't make the purchase. My cashier I'm guessing was the manager on duty. Highly disappointed ☹️

Dirt cheap is one of my most favorite places to shop. Some of the Associates are friendly. Some follow you around like your a thief. But my biggest complaint is they are closing the store at 5 pm because they are short staffed. I went yesterday and not even 20 mins of being in the store were herded out. If you need a job go see them down at dirt cheap. I need the store to stay open till the original time. Also some of the prices are just ridiculous.. a pink ceramic non- stick pan ( mind you 1 single frying pan ) should cost noone 59.99 especially at a salvage store.

Today I went there and the lady checked us out putting the face like we pissed her off cause we bought too much things . I always went there for the last five years. It’s not about finding a good deal. I like to walk around and see stuff. I don’t think I ever come back again.Ps: they always tell us the price after markdown, because what already on the shelf does not match with the price on the items but today she decided not to do it. I have receipts dates and time we check out at the store. I can prove it just check the CCTV you know who she was.

Always a great place to shop it looks like they've emptied out a lot so it makes a place look cleaner and easy to find things but there's not as many items to choose from

This store would be so much better to shop at if their clothes sizes were organized. All sizes are all over the racks including kids clothes with plus sizes. You just have to look and look to find sizes. It is so un-called for, at least have a child’s rack, adult rack, plus-size racks and have the clothes separate.

You can find some great deals if you don't mind sorting and picking through the shelves and storage bins. I suppose you should expect a place like this to have their merchandise out of place in no particular order whatsoever. You do need to download their app which allows you to check prices by scanning items.The cashier asked if we had been there before and told us to make sure to come back soon! Smiled and seemed to enjoy assisting us. We will definitely be going back soon to look for more great deals!

Great staff. Very friendly and super friendly. If store is cluttered is due to customers opening packages and making a mess. No company could keep up organization with the customer count they have come through daily. Spend time looking and you will find Incredible value and the savings can't be beat. I scored 3 smart watches in one trip for 140$ with over 550$ retail value.

If you have the time and patience you can find some awesome stuff!!!!! We just got all of the snap floor panels (not sure what they're called exactly!)to redo the floors in our camper! Back splash & and the bathroom tiles for the floor too! Sooo much cheaper than Lowe's & then it was another 50% off that! Be careful though... Most of that death is returns from Amazon and other stores, so make sure all the pieces are there and that they do work if you buy something.

its was ok.. its hard to really find anything ..unorganized .and all sales final..has me scared to buy much..but I can say this.. I got a really good laser printer there new years eve..for $36 and its been awesome. i had to order ink for it. it was missing that and software. if you have time to browse and treasure hunt. its 👍 great!

Prices on HL and Toys are together mixed on a shelf with the same item # which displays a 50% off sign. Be very careful. It is not the price for those toys . The price app rarely works.

I visit at least once or twice a week. I always find the best items at the best price. It may be messy sometimes, but what dirt cheap isn’t? Staff is pretty nice & sometimes helpful, depending on what you might need. It’s definitely you get what you pay for store. So always check your items from top to bottom and that your electronic items work. You are not allowed to return anything.
