They were very helpful, took good care of the dog that I turned in and found a family that adopted the dog in about a week. While this was going on they kept me up to date on the adoption and finally sent me a picture of the dog at it's new home. I was very happy with the entire event.

Having Moose has been grand. Not ever a real cat person but he's reformed me.. We've changed his name from a frontier cat name to a farm cat name he'll be known hence forth as Otis. He a good addition to the farm and his regal ways have won us over. The ppl at the shelter were a pleasure to work with very friendly, knowledgeable and caring of the animals and great customer care.

I got into a lil problem being a first time cat owner( a stray kitten whose family was killed found me , sitting on my porch)She is my kitty soulmate.Anyway that was 2yrs ago. And few litters later, I finally got a chance to get her spayed.I found good homes for many of her kittens but this shelter was a godsend! Every one I couldnt find a home for, they DID!they even found a home for my girls adult daughter and all 4 of her kittens. One good home.Sadly, I have 3 cats and I'm facing another cervical surgery, so I'm heading back to the shelter with my big orange boy, BUDDY.He is a wonderful cat, very loving and friendly. Pretty big guy too. Something is up with drainage from his eye, ever since he was treated for an eye infection as a kitten.I know he will get a great home!! Better then I can give him on my fixed income and my upcoming neck surgery.You couldnt get a better cat.I love this shelter, because the love these animals and try to home them all, imo

I went two years ago with my mother's dog, the way she was handle veterinarian was uncalled for. She was at the time 10 years old, 70 in dog years. She was already sick and hurting. She was completely man handled by a woman. She wasn't a violent dog. She was very sweet and gentle. She loved all people. My mom had her before her eyes were fully opened. That really hurt her. The woman already looked like she had an attitude when we came in. It was like she didn't want to help us. She showed it on her face and in her actions. I haven't been back their since that day.

The staff was great and seem passionate about the animals. They helped me adopt a stray without any hassle. I recommend people strongly coming here to adopt a homeless animal instead of buying from a dog breeder.

A for effort F for execution. Surrendered a young dog someone abandoned. She was a sweetheart and gorgeous. She was never up for adoption. I sent someone a week later to check. Not a single photo of her ever showed up on their page. She just disappeared.Giving 3 stars because my neice did recover her dog from them and have known people who are happy with their adoptions.

Its disgusting inside. We where told look by our selfs and walked into the back. No one offering to give names or info on dogs. Group of dogs out back fighting. Felt like I was a problem for stopping by to look. Pretty sad and gross for poor animals.

They were closed. Needed to drop off two malnutritioned dogs that we rescued. Someone should always be on standby for occasions like this. They knew we were bringing them in from conversation with them day before.

I went there to drop off 2 to semi stray cats. I was very surprised to have to pay a fee of $20.00 to the shelter to take the cats.
