Great local fish store here in Marshall County. Like his new place. I have set up a 125 gallon freshwater aquarium from Tony and now a 180 gallon saltwater and a 32 gallon BioCube saltwater in our bedroom. So many fish and invertebrates from him and any supplies I need.

Tony is awesome. I can't say enough about his wealth of knowledge of both freshwater and saltwater fish and the accessories that you need to set up and maintain a healthy environment for your fish. And he sell's fish and accessories at below normal prices used and new! Which is great and he will even come to your house and set up your fish tank for an extra fee. He will tell you how to maintain your tank and about your fish also! Just like any hobby, trial and errors will happen. Don't fault him for the risks of the hobby itself. Tony will set you up beautifully! Enjoy the big tank adventure!

Once again, bogus google reviews. We purchased several fish from this place and within days ALL of my fish had fin rot, it killed most of them. There is absolutely zero chance this didn't come from the sickly fish purchased at this store. His suggested recourse was to offer up store credit (Right, let's buy more fish from this place and kill off the wounded survivors...). Hard pass.

I have kept tropical fish for many years in several states. I gravitate towards independent stores and away from big box stores. I've been in this store 5 or 6 times over a period of maybe 3 years and have been disappointed each and every time. Dirty tanks, sick fish, nearly non existent customer service. On one occasion, I pointed out there was a fish in severe distress from being picked on by tank mates, no action was taken.Some quick research has found evidence of repercussions from giving this business bad reviews such as the owner giving a bad review to another business that was not even visited by him. I'm curious to see if this disturbing trend continues because of my review

Best fish store I have seen I the whole state of Alabama since I moved from Miami Florida. So glad I found this place, but now that I have I am probably going to be getting into alot of fish again. Also Tony is very knowledgeable about fish.

Really reasonable prices on fish. Wide variety. Store could use a lil better upkeep. Wish we had more stores like it instead of our one local chain store that's expensive and doesn't maintain tanks well

We always recommend Tony’s Aquarium! Best place for fresh & salt water fish! Tony is very knowledgeable & great to deal with. Anytime we have messaged him a question, he responds as soon as he can. We bought 2 tanks & fish from Tony back in 2019 & he is the person we will always use! 🐠

Made a special trip over an hour to visit and was extremely disappointed. There were only a handful of healthy fish, the shop was absolutely filthy. There were fish in tanks way too small for their size.The axoltols got to me, as an owner of these amazing creatures it pained me to see the animals in such a state. The substrate was wrong, ammonia had burned away their gills and some had began eating each other resulting in at least two without a single limb and barely any tails. There were signs on the tanks saying "No Guarantee" if you cannot provide care for animals how can you expect to help new owners? I left in tears, please do not support this business.

Great store and staff. If you are looking for that special fish he will do his best to find it for you. Sends out a message and pictures of fresh stock he just got in. Fish, aquarium, new and used, lights and filters. Everything you need to get started

Nice shop. Tony is knowledgable about the fish. The fish are always healthy, or he doesn't sell them. Got a special fish you want? Let him know, he will try toorder it- I have even seen him do it while I was standing there...

I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Bought fish 2 weeks ago. Within one week the fish started dying and my other fish got fin rot from the fish I purchased here. The fish I had in my tank had been in the tank for 4 years and were very established. $100 plus worth of fish died so far. I tried to settle this with them, but they won't take my calls

Tony's has a great staff and great selections, the best LFS I've seen in a while. Very helpful for new and seasoned fish keepers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Very friendly and was not pushing us to buy anything. He didn't mind us looking for awhile before we made up our minds on what to buy.Well worth the 2 hours drive from where we live.We will be back many times.Great place
