I have been to many Publix’s in the Birmingham and surrounding areas and this Publix outranks them all.We are staying nearby for a few weeks and the first time I entered I thought the cleanliness and friendly staff were because it was late and the store was not busy, turns out that is not the case. Every visit has been met with friendly staff, stocked shelves and a clean atmosphere. There are always checkout lines ready to serve too. I appreciate the efficiency and order this Publix runs with.

Publix was clean, friendly, and well stocked with a good selection, as usual. Many prices are higher than competitors, but carefully following the sales and coupons can allow one to shop there very competitively with other stores. The meat is better quality than most stores. They have ethnic sections not generally seen elsewhere, too, as well as a good selection of foods for people on diets to avoid certain ingredients.

I love Publix but this location is my favorite. They always go above and beyond to be helpful. I lost my debit card and the manager paid for my groceries out of his own pocket. I did go back the next day and pay him back but for him to even offer was incredible and I will never forget his kindness to me and my family.

Absolute worst publix I've ever been in. Has a awful vegetable section. Not fresh. And the meat selection is basically non existent. And just bad. As much as I don't like shopping at Walmart you might as well just go across the street and shop there. Publix is supposed to have a certain standard and this one just doesn't have it not sure if it's the demographic or the management. It's a disgrace to the Publix name.

Ordered my son's first birthday cake (a full sheet cake) a week in advance. Showed them the design I wanted, it was a football field cake from their website. Picked it up, and it looked terrible!! The icing and design was so messy, the lettering looked like my one year old son did it. Horrible! On top of that, the cake was very dry. I was disappointed.

I have visited six Publix locations in this state. The employees in every one of them are friendly, knowledgeable and will not hesitate to stop whatever they're doing to answer a question or to lead you to an item you were looking for.

I love this store. Produce is always fresh. There's a nice variety of products. Super friendly staff. The store is clean and well maintained. I gave it 4 stars because I wish they had a service meat counter. Sometimes, I don't need a full lb of meat. The prices are in line with most of the competitors, especially if you take customer service into account. I also like their spot for recycling plastic sacks.

If you are getting fried chicken in Alabaster, they are reasonable priced, stores always clean when I'm in there. Not to many places round here to get it, so I recommend here if u looking for meal or for family size.

Great service. Michael in the Bakery was top notch on getting out wedding cake sorted out. It tasted great and looked amazing. Highly recommend the Bakery staff at this location.

I like to buy my vegetables and fruits at Publix the one in Alabaster is more covenant for me but the products they aren't fresh. Yesterday I go and 2 vegetables that I wanted are rotten others day I buy fruits and is rotten too. I speak with the manager and show him and it's not the first time.

Great store. Most items are in stock whenever I visit. The deli is packed with a rotating menu of hot meal choices, which are all pretty great. Still have cashiers at their registers and happy open additional registers so you don't have to wait too long. And still get offered help to my car, which I appreciate.

Always like going to Publix. The meat department is awesome. You actually have real butchers in there as opposed to someone who just stocked the shelves. You can ask them questions and get them to do special things for you with their equipment. A little more pricey than Walmart but if you need a good cut of meat or maybe some advice, they are the place to go.

I love the variety, but the prices are usually double Walmart if the item is not on sale. Friendly staff and very clean. Needless to say, we only buy their on sale items.Still agree with this review

Always a pleasant shopping experience. I came in tonight to find something to eat for dinner. I asked how much an eight-piece fried chicken basket with cost. It was 6.99 two years ago but now it's please vote!!!!

As Publix stores go, this one is good. All the employees are friendly, the atmosphere is good, etc. The prices are generally higher than you would find at Walmart, but that is to be expected for Publix; you pay more to get those friendly employees, good atmosphere, or just to be able to say you shop at Publix. I come here from time to time, and today the power was out. Had to pay cash for some medication, but business worked as normal otherwise. I recommend this store for anyone who is willing to pay a couple dollars extra. With religious use of coupons and exploitation of sales, the price does even out, though.

I sent my husband to buy item I seen off the app this weeks ad. Over $30 worth of item start next weeks ad. Why would they have next weeks ad on this week? The lady at the customer service desk you can’t even understand her due to her accent. She didn’t understand my point and I couldn’t understand a word she was saying. She said she’s a supervisor at that. Wow.

I think Publix offers the best shopping experience. There are clerks on hand to assist customers at all times. I really appreciate the valet service. I have mobility problems and it means a lot to be able to get physical assistance! The Mart Carts are always charged and available. Their fresh meats and other items are very good. The Deli and hot food section is outstanding. Publix is my favorite place to shop!
